Didnt find out about this until a month ago, but you can also get injured because of this. Went to a physio as my lower ankle bone is sticking out of my foot slightly more than it should be causing me grief, and if yoy dont keep your legs alligned properly then it can do that

Once they're adults it doesn't really have much of a negative effect because the rest of the body develops around it, but it doesn't have any advantages either. l am fourteen and my uncle played professionally and my whole family also have this with their legs form playing football it’s sucks because I think I am starting to get knee problems from it
