Double Steam Action Weekend 34067 & 5043

Hello & Welcome to Harnetty Railways
After a week long break from mainline steam we got back into the swing of it during the 1st weekend of April.
Originally intending on seeing the mainline tribal chief SNGLT's 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley on the ECML but due to The Aslef Union strike action no Northern & Trans Pennine services ran at all which cancelled the plans for the A4 as did Ian Riley's Black 5 44871 on The Lickey Incline.
So the only alternative was back in Cumbria seeing West Coast Railways's 34067 Tangmere working The Northern Belle dining train on the usual circuit & for the 1st time in 5 years seeing The Northern Belle without a Pullman MK1 in the consist.
We start at Oxenholme Lake District which unfortunately encountered problems as the bulleid nearly came to a stop south of the station due to a signal check caz of trespassers further down the line near Grayrigg however the acceleration did create a spectacular sight as Tangmere picked up speed as she heads north to Carlisle.
For the return run due to no Northern Services running caz of The ASLEF Strikes we opted to do Durranhill south of Carlisle & get a new location for the spamcan ticked off.
Then the last shot of Tangmere wasn't planned however due to a combo of our train running 50 minutes late from Carlisle & Tangmere running 45 early we got into Preston 10 minutes before she rolled in with the train so we got it ticked off for the record.
We move onto the next day to catch up with the famous loco in The Tyseley fleet 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe working the 1st Shakesphere Express of 2024.
We opted to try out Bentley Heath Crossing north of Dorridge for the 1st time & what a choice after reviewing other youtube videos so let's go for it.
We see the castle in fine fettle running 9 minutes early as he heads north towards Birmingham which is were we end this video.
