    The fact that you said breaking up the balls individually was maybe overkill makes me worried about the amount of layers i have XD

      Pfft! That was quite the sentence, haha!
      Honestly you shouldn't worry, the more pieced apart the better, it can always be thrown in a deformer to group them together if you had to.

    Wow. Just wow. I had no idea the amount of labor and creativity that comes into play for a "simple" design. I have a much deeper appreciation for digital creation and vtubing now because of your video. Cannot wait to explore the rest of your beginner videos and other content. I can't stress this enough, THANK YOU.

    I tried that rotation size adjustment method you showed and all it does is make my model big or small. It doesn't adjust the circle part of the rotation deformer.

    I've been following your Tutorial for a while and I have to say thank you because thanks to you I'm getting so excited to be a vtuber soon! But I got a little question: If you put all your separate body parts in folders with names and everything, does the folders also get exported into Live2d Cubism?

    • @erika4773
      @erika4773 3 роки тому +2

      Yes, the folders, layers and their names are moved into Cubism the same way you saved them :) The blending modes however are not all compatible with Cubism, it only works with Normal, Multiply and Additive (PS names) blending modes of layers. Good luck with your Vtuber!

    Hello, I am wondering if you can help me. I use sketchbook to draw which does allow me to save as .psd however when I try to put my art into Live2D it just doesn't seem to do anything at all or tell me what the issue is. What is wrong with my psd files and is there any way to fix this?

    • @dreamtrove
      @dreamtrove  2 роки тому +2

      I'm not sure why it's not working for you. It's possible that for some reason PSD file formats saved on mobile devices or apps is not a recognized file type in Live2D even if it's saved as a PSD.
      The only possible solution I can recommend is trying is to upload your PSD file to your PC, using another art software program like Paint Tool SAI, Photoshop, Krita or Clip Studio Paint etc. and save it as a new PSD file on your PC in the hope that it might work in Live2D from there.
      You're saying that it's not giving an error message which is unusual as it normally would if there was a direct issue. So it could be a problem with the Live2D on your computer. Sadly I can't give much guidance besides the recommendation above. Let me know if you find out the solution!

      @@dreamtrove After using a converter online to go from .tif to .psd it finally worked in Live2D. BUT it seems that .tif only "appears" to save the work with layers and opens fine in Sketchbook but not elsewhere because the converted psd file did not have any layers :( I'm going to have to try with another software.

    So why doesn't it let me make a new folder when I go to save my model? The folders I see are app, data, and tools and I can't add another folder so do I have to add a folder somewhere in those folders or what because I am really confused and would like to get this model to work. Great tutorial though I'm just stuck on saving my model.

    • @dreamtrove
      @dreamtrove  2 роки тому

      Live2D works in the format of a .cmo3 file not a .json file. You need the .cmo3 model file to work on it in Live2D.

    I have watched all your videos and i love them! They have been helping me so much! However i do have one question. When i try to create a parameter and use the rotation deformer, It shows duplicates of the object im currently rotating to show its path. It used to not do this, but suddenly it is. Is there a way to get rid of it? If you understand what i'm saying.
