    Christ in a box. Simple explanations, time-stamps, no sort of delays or drawn out details about something. This is just an amazing tutorial. I watched your video on making a Vtuber model last week and it basically gave me the inspiration to finish something I had trouble doing for quite a while.

    Wow I never thought that a Vtuber model tutorial would be so straightforward and easily digestable. Most of the tutorials I saw are like 20 minutes to 1 hour tutorials which sometimes makes me loose interest or get really confused how a became b. But with your tutorials I can easily grasp and understand how Live 2D works and how to rig a model properly. In short, thank you cuz this really helped me a lot! :D

Like, the other tutorials I've tried to follow have frustrated me, but your tutorial hits the important parts and explains every tool severely well! This tutorial was short, simple, and sweet! Which, overall, gave me more results than ANY of the other tutorials I've come across!

    for anyone having issues with the auto-generating like I did, where some items just don't generate the mesh properly and turn invisible, just swap the preset to low and back to standard or high one at a time for the missing items and it'll re-generate it. then re-generate the texture atlas

    • @KappakoChannel
      @KappakoChannel  2 роки тому

      Yes! Check texture atlus whenever you change the mesh, you might not have to regenerate everytime but make sure that it looks correct, not blurry and doesnt overlap with other parts.

    So... If I know my 3d terminology correctly, a warp deformer is like a lattice, a rotation deformer is like a bone (if you ignore the fact that bones have location controls as well) and a deform path is like a shape key (i'm not as certain on this one). I don't know much of live2d so it's possible that I got it entirely wrong.

    Thank you so much for the tutorial, thanks makes me want to try 2D vtube again. You made it less scary and explained it more simply!

      Definitely give it a try, if you have the time and motivation, you can make your own Vtuber too

      @@KappakoChannel off and on I been playing with 3d, but 2d keeps catching my attention. I like that it seems more customizable especially with the assets seeming to be easier. Just takes long time. 2D seems much more satisfying and prettier.

      @@teddiihikari 3d also can be very unique and animated but it requires blender and i just dont understand how 3d works so I stick to live2d XD

    Getting to the texture atlus there are things different namely that certain parts of the model aren't sorting into the right spot.

      Thanks! I definitely think that drawing the model is more difficult than rigging it XD

      If you added them your own, make sure they were at a 100% scale
