Christ in a box. Simple explanations, time-stamps, no sort of delays or drawn out details about something. This is just an amazing tutorial. I watched your video on making a Vtuber model last week and it basically gave me the inspiration to finish something I had trouble doing for quite a while.
Hello kappako im currently rigging my character, and im still having problems in x and y angles, would you please fix my model. I would be happy to pay and give you credits on my videos.
I rarely comment on videos, but I wanted to go ahead and say thank you for making this tutorial. It was very easy to follow and a nice introduction to live 2d.
Wow I never thought that a Vtuber model tutorial would be so straightforward and easily digestable. Most of the tutorials I saw are like 20 minutes to 1 hour tutorials which sometimes makes me loose interest or get really confused how a became b. But with your tutorials I can easily grasp and understand how Live 2D works and how to rig a model properly. In short, thank you cuz this really helped me a lot! :D
Aw thank you so much!!! Those super in depth long tutorials will be godsent once you need them, but I thought this video is good to cover the basics so you know where to start.
I was kinda scared of rigging at first, but you made it look so easy I'm pumped up now :3 will edit this comment depending on my results afterwards xD edit: it was a success for my first character rig. i have to improve, obviously, but my model works fine.
This tutorial is the easiest to follow and most helpful one I've seen so far! You're very thorough and make the program seem a lot less intimidating and far easier to understand
Quick thing:If your dragging your mouse around the physics menu and it’s the model isn’t moving, make sure to hold down the left mouse button while dragging! Also, this tutorial is mwah, beautiful.
thank you so much for these videos!! i’m going to be making my own 2D model from scratch since i’m too poor to commission one, and these tutorials are a huge help :)
Imma be honest, you’re so easy to follow along and you make all of this less overwhelming than it can sometimes feel. Thank you for the motivation and the wonderfully written videos!!!
oh my gosh!!! THANK YOU!!! This tutorial really helped me!! Like, the other tutorials I've tried to follow have frustrated me, but your tutorial hits the important parts and explains every tool severely well! Other tutorials I've watched spend more time doing without explanation, or tell you to do things without giving reasons as to why they were doing the particular action. This tutorial was short, simple, and sweet! Which, overall, gave me more results than ANY of the other tutorials I've come across! I just want to say again, Thank you so so so so so so so SO MUCH for this tutorial!! I learned so much in the 8 minutes compared to the 15+ minute tutorials out there!! Thank you!!!
@@KappakoChannel honestly, you did an absolutely wonderful job! I have ADHD, so I really appreciated your video! While I know other ones are definitely in depth, its very hard for me to sit through 15+ minutes that dont really get as thorough and quick as you do! I immediately understood right after your video on how to work out the rigs for the face and more after your video, so really! Thank you! I appreciate all the work put into this video! Thank you!
ok this is the best video I could eve ask for! Brilliant! Everything is explained and shown without "I bet everyone knows this" and "its a common knowledge so I'll skip next step" bs. Love this!
i've just finished a model, this is gonna be very hard but also fun i think edit: like 4 days later I’m almost done rigging. this is a lot faster than i thought it would br
I was so stressed at first but omg this looks so much easier to understand and relaxes my anxiety a bit, im currently working on my own vtuber model so this will help a lot, thank you very much 😊
Live2D Cubism always looked so intimidating. This video was so clear and on point that it gave me the motivation to tackle it head on. It's kind of similar to animating in keyframes, except the program helps you fill some of the gaps.
Thank you for the explanation! I've drawn my model and hopefully I'll be able to move soon xD your tutorial is one of the best I found so far ♡ much love
This was extremely easy to follow and straight-forward! I've opened Live2D only a few days ago, and have been hopping around a bit and testing, and I feel like I'll get much more done after your video
I've looked at a few of your videos before, but dont think I actually commented before. I'm finally starting and I find so many of the tutorial videos skip this step entirely! Thank you for telling me to sort the parameters!!
for anyone having issues with the auto-generating like I did, where some items just don't generate the mesh properly and turn invisible, just swap the preset to low and back to standard or high one at a time for the missing items and it'll re-generate it. then re-generate the texture atlas
Yes! Check texture atlus whenever you change the mesh, you might not have to regenerate everytime but make sure that it looks correct, not blurry and doesnt overlap with other parts.
Rigging looked REALLY complicated without seeing anything but after watching your tutorial it looks so much easier than I expected and am currently trying to rig something right now. this video helped SO MUCH, thank you!!! I believe this practice rigging I'm doing right now will go well ^^ (will edit if it went well once its done)
I noticed that you cant 100% copy someones hierarchy. What works for the might not work for you because the layers are separated differently. Yea i thought some kinda idea is better than none :)
Yesss im so glad to hear i simplified it for you! You only need the basic live2d tools to make a vtuber model! But you can make amazing professional models when you get better
After watching tutorials and currently working on my model before actually rigging, I still had a few questions in mind.
