Point and click isn’t that hard to learn tbf. It’s not like you need to learn armor weak points or anything. They should go play cod for awhile to get those reaction times up.

@@raizencore No, people should rightfully be able to play whatever BR they want. Premium players dont effect you directly. If gaijin is going to advertise exclusively top tier, make people think they can start where they want (modern tanks) but then make them have to pay $60-$70 to do that, they should be able too. Just because you had to slog through whole trees because you didnt want to buy in doesnt mean other people should.
Making people not able to play what they want especially when they pay for it is outright wrong in every way. Its a videogame, not a contest, a job, or real life. Gaijin has made it this way from the beginning, they cant change it now.

I enjoy the sniping content, it helps me with learning spots on the maps and tricks on aiming

You see my biggest fear by far is that their way to balance this out is to just give every Nation a top tier prem like they did in air. And then with that every nation is fed and the WR balances itself out
This is 100% gonna happen. Next update is probably USSR and germany, and some other minor nations (maybe sweden to drop their winrate, and its gonna be similar to the german one probably)

Russia already has 10.3-11.3 premium tanks problem is theyre 10.0. The 2S38 should be 11.3 and the TURMS-T should be 10.3. Its bizarre that the M1 Abrams with M774 is a higher BR than the TURMS-T and the HSTV-L is above the 2S38.

If the US tech tree were in need of a new reserve tier vehicle for the light tank line, I'd really want the M1 Armored Car to be the one. Sure, it's primary armament is just a Browning .50 cal. & then one or two Browning .30 cal. MGs, but at low tiers, a .50 cal. is just as good as the main guns of most tanks at the tier.

As far as sniping content. On a map like this, it makes sense. Large open areas are the death of tanks with LRFs. But on the urban maps you play aggressive. So I think it’s perfect
Its simple; they added this vehicle so players can buy them selves a full top lineup with the Squadron M1A (+lower BR premiums ... maybe), the AH-64 brickpache, and throw the A-10, A-6 and (very) maybe the F-4S for CAS to have a full valet-warrior set, with the ever so popular US !
I love it when you knife fight Justin. It teaches us how to prioritise targets and deal with tough situations.
7:45 I personally enjoy the sniping stuff, especially since thats how a lot of the tanks are meant to be used in the first place being in hull down positions and repositioning

A good balance of content is a great thing, seeing only sniping or only rushes and flankings all the time it get's boring pretty quickly so it would be nice if in each video you included multiple play styles.
I have the tank to help my 11.3 us lineup with the hstvl and m1 aim. I have been loving it but the teams even in down tiers are bad. Plus the ammo i take less than what justin used in the beginning to help survive a little bit better.

the spalling of steel behind the gas tank is my biggest problem it just nukes you while leo has a thicker base plate and spalls way less

21:59 IRL (not a video game) HEAT is more common than SABOT. 9.9/10 the Abrams has ALWAYS has, or always has been projected to fight weak nations that either have weak darts, or tons of HEAT. Hence the no spall liner. The Abrams in current day isn’t expected to be in a hot war with the Leopard 2A7. But IRL isn’t a video game, tank on tank combat wasn’t the focus on these upgrades.
Why add an extra 2.5 TONS of weight in spall liner if you don’t intend on being penetrated to begin with yk? Especially since the weight of the Abrams has been a major ISSUE both natively, and export wise. Hence the M-10 Booker, and Abrams X (MUCH LIGHTER FOR A REASON).
There’s no point IRL if adding that spall liner for many ergonomic reasonings. Especially ones being shipped off to active wars rn. That slows everything down, especially shipping. Added weight makes a difference in what can and can’t haul a thing. What can and can’t hold that thing while hauling. What bridges it can cross, etc. In this video game War Thunder we forget that because that’s not modeled. The Maus doesn’t break bridges it typically crosses, neither does the Abrams.

i think if your vehicle can be matched with vehicles at the current max BR (For example 10.7-11.7 currently as of writing) Its a top tier vehicle.
Im happy with this tank added, with its introduction they added a lot of bots as well so i can get a lot of kills without fighting players

8:46 Any vehicle that can be uptiered to the highest br (10.7 for ground and 11.3 for planes) should be considered a “top tier premium” especially as there are so many players in the top br brackets that uptiers are very common

If you want to get technical, this is tier 8 which is "top tier". However it isn't max BR for GRB so Gaijin does in fact sell top tier vehicles... They just don't sell max BR vehicles
I just got to 9.3 with the T-72A and noticed there are a lot of newbies in KVTs and Click Baits that leave the matches early.
Basically that's the only high tier vehicle they have.

Gaijin does sell top tier vehicles in my opinion. Anything 10.7 and higher can get uptiered and therefore fights at top tier. The click bait is fully capable of fighting at 11.7. As are a couple other high BR premiums offered.
Id say from my personal experience the state of US right now seems fine to 11.0. The 11.3 and especially 11.7 are true pain for me
Honestly agree, I find the most fun In US techtree is 9.0 with xm-803, 10.3 with m1 kvt and m1, nd 11.0 with m1a1 and ipm1
I second this! I've been playing USA 10.3 and it's been alright. It generally sucks getting uptiered because the teams suck so you generally lose but so long as you don't get sucked into 11.3, it's kinda fun actually.

@@ryangoslingIRL It's not just the US. Top BR is outrageously imbalanced (from 40% to 72% winrate holy jesus shit). I enjoy 8.7 Russia a lot more for instance and coincidently a lot of nations are closer together in winrate around there. I mean, hell, the UK is "top dog" at that BR with 58% WR which is nothing insane either. Also Germany and Russia (which are kind of a benchmark being the most played nations and facing each other most of the time) stand within 0.3% WR in the 51% range. THAT is balanced. It's coincidently way more enjoyable.
Edit : Holy crap I've just checked the last data on Data Project. 11.3 USA has dipped below 37%... Rough.

sitting back engaging targets at distance is what real tanks do in real life. so i like this type to playstyle. its smart. too many COD types on this game nowadays
Abrams doesn’t have a spall liner IRL because it already has DU armor, contrary to what gajin thinks. It doesn’t need a spall liner, because its armor literally cannot be penetrated by any other tank.
I was planning on buying it to finish my American tech tree ,since I’ve been playing only top tier with other nations ,but seriously,USA top tier is hell at the moment…

Half the reason why we lose besides Russian bias are the fact that we get level 30s playing top tier with their one singular tank so when their premium gets destroyed because they do not know what they are doing, then they leave and thus they cause the us and allies to loose.
That's pretty much all what top tier is is sniping, it's what I love around the 6.0 BR there's still brawling.
maybe they should make it to where you have to be a certain level in the game like 30 or 40 to be able to buy these top tier packs? it might be a good idea

I don't even play top tier anymore, all the good players play mid tier... Air and Ground. I find myself having tougher matches. Top tier players are quick to tell you how good they are, then they get wiped when they step down... They're kinda like the people who jump/pay to top tier, only difference is they send you death threats and most of the time they cant spell...
The spalling issue could be solved if gaijin gave the abram tank crew armor to protect them. Irl they wearing helmets and vests to protect against spalling.

I'm brand new. I die to spawn CAS - ALOT, DAILY. I die to enemy spawn camping - ALOT, DAILY. I die to enemy spawn camping across the darn map, in every single vehicle I've grinded out I die fast. So when I saw the click bait, I wanted it. I researched it and knew its armor sucked compared to the AIM but I wanted it if only for the chair (hehe). I love the handling. It feels natural to play with. I had the same experience with my T92. Couple days ago I capped a zone with my T92 and left to patrol. An IS-3 decided to cap it back. Nah ah.. that cap belongs to me! So I went back and got directly in his face, found a little crater 15 feet in front of him on a small berm and dared him to make any move that would allow him to get me while starring directly at him .. lol I'm sure I drove that boy stupid.
I'm only at 7.7 so I've yet to play even 1 round of any kind in it. I like the hi-tier vehicles and can afford them (I have a couple) but I've not earned my way to top tier yet so its test drive and custom battles for me for now while I grind out my AIM. But with the US tree having questionable choices for a lineup between 7.7 and 10, the squad is starting to give me lectures on things to expect in things to come soon,

Remember that they used the export version of abrams and refuse to change the lower front plate or fix the turret ring issues to make abrams an atleast somewhat better vehicle. Their reasoning? Well it would just be a harder vehicle to kill…in a world where STRV 122B and Leo 2a7vs exist. Leveling 11.0 stock abrams have been CBT to the point I have just opted to play Japan in my off time, I’m only 8.7 with Japan but it feels refreshing compared

Taking full ammo on an abrams is a bad idea. Blowout panels doesnt work if the panel between the ammo stowage and the crew is penetrated. So if a shell penetrates an abrams from turret cheek's small weak spot like on the 6:06 or from the turret neck (If you are still alive you are a lucky one) it might detonate the ammo, you can see the ammo is damaged by that shot. In this case if you died but can't see the killcam you are killed by an aircraft or you are killed by an ammo detonation. I think the best choice is taking 20 shell at total.
I carry full ammo in my 120 Abrams tanks and only 52 rounds in my 105 Abrams tanks all the time and it works fine for me. The only times I die to ammo detonations are when people *intently* attack the blowout racks from behind, the sides, or in cases if I'm on a slope facing someone and my turret roof is visible to the enemy.
Granted, frontal penetrations of the blowout rack are indeed very possible especially for the non-DU Abrams tanks and the AIM but it does not happen too often since you usually die to crew knockouts anyway.
@@icy3-1 Yea thats what I wanted to say by "If you are still alive you are a lucky one", you are going to die to crew knockouts most of the time. Its compeletly luck but I've died to ammo detonations from the front many times. I think I suck on luck. This game is really starting bore me out, join battle, get shot from neck got killed instantly, I wouldn't grind america without premium for 700 hours if I knew It was that bad. Maybe the game is not for me idk, Im about to delete it if they are not going to do something about it. By the way doesn't AIM has DU armor at least equal protection as with A2 variants

22:08 well.. that's because the U.S has always had their wars up about the Middle-East, where the majority of the countries they had fought had no access to Sabot rounds, let alone DU Sabots.
Im probably not gonna get this tank but it is my favorite looking tank i always loved the body of the abrams tanks and this one just beats them all in looks i love the chair on top haha but I think i like the challenger 11.3 premium better then this one right now

I played a single game of top tier britain yesterday, my entire team apart from one other person was playing russia, i got 1 kill and ran across the entire map to cap the point since it was battle and my team just crowded around the enemys spawns

to me, any vehicle that can see top tier matches is a top tier premium, full stop.
Back when the X-M1 was added into the game, it was 9.0, with the top BR of 10.0. It saw top tier every game or close to it. It was for all intends and purposes, a top tier premium. Same goes for the click bait.
American top tier now have 29% of wins (this is statistics collected by youtuber K2 by downloading more than 100k replays few days ago)

I think the Abrams needs a turret ring buff as well as the bottom of the turret face. I honestly don't think a hull buff would help most of the time youre hull down anyway or you just shoot turret ring cause its so large.

The reason the US underperforms imo is because they have everyone else but the US spall liners, ever though they were one of the first to implement ut
My win rate while playing grb for top tier America used to be around 54%, but if you look at the more recent vehicles like the new abrams and what not, its now like 40%. Playing america at top tier now adays is one of the worst types of torture you can endure. About 70% of your team consists of lvl 10-60s who only have premium / squad vehicles and have 0.2 kds across the board. It all went down hill as soon as they started adding things like the a-10, and the m1a1 aim. A bunch of 10yr children who think the a-10 is the best plane ever and will win against a mig 29 and all they have to do is fly in a straight line and go brrrrt now infest the american top tier.
11.3 planes is unplayable because of f-4s bombers with 36-44% winratio and i see same sh** with tanks hahaha good job gajin!
Don't use landing gears when landing, but don't wiggles your plane left and right when going fast
Don’t ignore the stupid spall liner, today I shot too many STRv122s and that spall liner + fuel tank eat the 3BM60. Seriously, no shrapnel at all.
I just started wt thursday on my pc and it has been super enjoyable! But it feels like it takes forever to earn sl.... my best game so far has been 21 kills in a t28 and 17 kills in a kv1s bottom tier! Mind you it was arcade! Not ready for realistic yet.

I have found that the only way to play American top tier is to play in arcade because you have a mix of all the tech trees.
Having to spend almost a thousand hours just to get to top tier is a pretty good incentive to just buy your way past all the grind.
I do not blame people for buying top-tier vehicles. The grind is just way to extreme, even with premium. This is simply Gaijin creating a problem and selling a solution.
Don't hate the people who play premium top-tier, instead hate the system that spawned them.
I think the Abrams could be fixed if they made it so rounds that bounce off the upper front plate couldn't pen the turret ring anymore that small change would probably boost Abrams survability by a lot.

Yeah but historically they did have a weak spot there but for the sep v2 I think it should get DU even though it was only tested.
One of the quickest ways to boost the Abram’s is to lower the reload speed again and finally give the DU ammo. Finally give us that incredible high pen we know the Abram should have. At least make it a glass cannon where as currently the m1 feels like a brawler that has no pen or armor 😅

Personally I see anything from 10.0 and up as top tier. With that being said, I called lies on gaijin's claim. Put on the same hand, I was not at all surprised to see them add top-tier vehicles as premiums.

I dont care if inexperienced players use top tier premiums (and yes anything that sees top tier in matchmaking is a top tier premium) but the problem is that they only get at best 2 spawns and as long as they are only playing 1 vehicle it wont lock someone out anyway for leaving a match so its just a bad idea for gameplay.
I have 10,0 premiums, but i always waited until i was within 1 BR of the vehicle I wanted before getting it and running it in matches that way I still had a usable lineup to play with if I died early on.

I don't know why but i having a mix experience with the US and on avarage i have a 50% winrate with them
Would never recommend anyone to buy a top tier premium, but I am guilty of it myself, and probably wouldn't have reached top tier otherwise even though I played WT since the beta.... it's just too frustrating and punishing to try and grind your way up lol
