Hello. First of all, thank you for the video. I have a few questions for you about aluminum siding. Is it possible to remove and reinstall aluminum siding without damaging it? Let's say the insurance company has approved only two elevations on a house. But you need to install the house wrap so that it overlaps the corner by 6 inches ( code requirement ). Is it possible to remove and reinstall a corner post without damaging it? The videos available on youtube suggest a negative answer to this. Maybe you have had a different experience? This is important for me to know because I work for a general contractor and often argue with insurance adjusters about siding without having much experience with it (I am a former industrial climber and have some experience with interior work). So if you respond to this comment, I would appreciate it. Thank you for the video and I wish you all the best.
hi! I never re/re corner posts . Very hard to to it without damaging. But i would assume its possible providing there is no caulking there - just nails. To re-install it would be a bit tough in your case but you can nail it just on one side of the wall i suppose . i totally switched to steel siding and trying not to deal with aluminum at all.
Good video thanks
Man,you're pro ,I just started watching your vids, hope I can learn how thing or two
