Nintendo is the king of innovation and making dumbass decisions like that do they realize how much money they could make if they just had a small team of 100 people dedicated to porting games even if it was $60 some people would still pay and it would make it worth it
i started playing luigis mansion, the gamecube version since is prettier than the 3ds, since October started to celebrate and now i found your video, what a nice thing
the interesting thing has to be the prototype controller for the GCN. That B button looks weird. I prefer what we got since that was easier to press. But I do like the whole beta idea of Luigi's Mansion. Thankfully the time limit was removed. Which I'm sure will be covered in part 2.
Yeah I'm pretty sure the time limit was made just for the demo, there isn't any data telling us it was tied to the game in a game over sense that people were speculating on for years, often claiming that was the case, it wasn't all it did was give you a message saying thank you for playing. I do know there was a early ranking system that did feature depressed Luigi as seen in the early trailers for Luigi's Mansion as the lowest rank, going for the bad ending thing. I did follow a lot of the development and lost content on Luigi's Mansion a lot since it is one of my favorite GameCube games next to Super Smash Bros Melee.
I’ve always found Luigi’s mansions cut content extremely fascinating I don’t know if it’s nostalgia over the Lost Bits video or what I’ve never even played the game
It was their reasoning, not mine. I think it was at that time that they simply saw Luigi as someone who didn't have a truly established personality like Mario and now spin him more in that direction
I think itd be better to have black borders instead of having the image mirror slightly at the edge of the screen. Otherwise great video, you always put out quality

I picked this game up at launch along with the GameCube itself and Rogue Squadron. Unpopular opinion, but I never really liked this game all that much. The graphics were impressive, but this was a poor substitute for an actual Mario game.

They should have ported the PAL version onto the Switch
@@byzantineroman2407 true the Pal version Luigi uses the Poltergust 3000 as mini car and the Hidden Mansion is mirrored
C-Stick: it's interesting that Lugi's Mansiona and Pikmin utilize it the most. I never realized that the games influenced the Controller's design.

I theorize that since Sunshine was already on development as well they couldn't use Mario in two games at the same time so Luigi was chosen instead.

Natural in the sense of the logical opposite to Mario, like how Luigi is green because that's the opposite color to red on the color wheel.
