All players should emulate Ma Long, Fan Zhendong and Lin Yunru. They are perfect gentlemen in sports!
I wander how those perfect gentlemen in sport would behave if I beat them in a game of TT.
@@andrzeiskodrayton4180 I don't know what they'll do, but i am going to break the TV. LOLL

People forget that Felix is still a kid. It’s normal for him to feel frustrated, but he definitely does have to learn and mature from it. He’s still very young, so he will definitely have time to sort out his problems.
At the time, Zhang Jike also paid a fine of $45,000 for kicking billboards.
It was not a fine, but that Zhang Jike offered to refund the 45,000 prize money for the competition and then publicly apologized. As the youngest Grand Slam player in history, he was the star of his era. The ITTF officials at the time were so appreciative that they did not punish him or ban him, and the shards he kicked are still hanging in the ITTF marketing director Matthew Bond's office.😂
It ultimately cost him $45,000 😃
Let haters hate,it’s ok to learn a lesson, and he had apologized for it on every social media platform.
I thought this was in Frankfurt , looking forward to watch him play
Thought so too... I got scared for a moment. Maybe we will see a rematch versus Lin Shidong.
please learn from Lin Yu Ju.... he is just chill...
LYJ is my favorite. He still has potential to get even better, if that's possible. Needs to stop flipping everything; lower that flip rate to about 70%.
Can confirm as a player that controlling the emotional pressure is actually a lot harder than people often say.
nonsense, its just bad upbringing and bad influence
@@bruce3906 Mine was pretty fine. And I'm actually pretty chill most of the time, but when it comes to table tennis it's pretty much increased pressure after each ball you hit cause the slightest mistake can gurantee the opponent another point so being precise is very frequent
@@bruce3906not that simple. Look at many of the great european players through the times. Many of these are very hot-headed guys. Unlike in china you have to have some kind of driving force to become a top player. And anger/not accepting defeat can be a very good driving force, but of cause, yes, you need to control it. But pls don't be so ignorant about it.
Me who couldn't afford expensive racket 😕
I always commend good players specially those who defeated me.
The kid is young, sure. But he is a professional player and shares the same stage as peers with other professional players. He should hence face the consequences as one regardless of his age. Also, it would be ok if he was 14-15 years old but at 18 years old, a age where most countries consider you a functional adult in society is unacceptable.
u pussy
@@WhitGodAllThingsArePossible maybe you should be Felix's personal life coach.
18 is where u just STARTED being an adult, what are you on about? 17 they're immature teenagers, 1 year later they turn 18 and now theyre fully fledged functional adults where their emotions are completely under their control? the way you're talking you'd think the kid threw his paddle at the player and stormed off
I threw my new/very nice racket and now I have glued it to join the broken handle😅. I’m never gonna repeat it in life. Learnt a great lesson from this: it’s both moral and economic losses🙏🙏
despite this, he has just moved up to 4th place in the world.
Disappointing behavior yes, but we’ve all done stupid stuff at that age. Fantastic player and I hope he learns from this.
ah idade não justifica não mano
@@Pettzxd Nothing justify it but immediate regrets of player is important.
@@gérardb1962 I agree
So classless. No, I was never like him.
I think red card is useless, need a tougher rule, maybe cannot play one year at WTT would get their attention.
Not totally useless. Red card may imply disqulification either of only the match, the event, or the whole competition. Disqualifying only from the match after the end of it would indeed be basically useless. However, he was disqualified from the men's singles event, meaning that he doesn't only lose the match, but loses any ranking point linked to that event (as if he hadn't played the men's singles at all). I believe this makes the card relevant. He also has to pay compensation for the broken screen.
He is still young, and he will learn that his team coach n family will support. Most tennis players have bad tamper too even worse
He has lost points of the competition.
Felix has attracted too much admiration too quickly, something like a great white hope. He's one of the new kids on the block, and needs to make it to at least his early 20's before he's proved himself. What happens if and when other players figure out his weak points, which may be already happening. I think he also just lost in Frankfurt. Harimoto won his first major at 13, later other players gradually got to know his game. Now he's one of the greatest, but not what people predicted. Mattenot was another one a dozen years ago; he never fulfilled what "experts" were predicting.
Why just ban him from singles? Like he was out anyways so no effect on that. Give him a fine and let him be disqualified for whole tournament
Because his infraction was minor and a first time offense.
No
He should find the way how to control hos emotions if he wants to be professional
he is professional, what are you talking about
@jorgeinostroza6675 ok, to be more professional. They don't behave like he does. Have you ever seen the same from Ma Long, for example? Felix is a kid who plays veeeeery well. His playing skills are professional, but he should work on controlling emotions
Behaving like this and you will go far.
If the racket accidentally injured an audience, his whole carrier might get a severe turn.
Ask Truls Moregard, he will be what he is talking about ;)
Success on young age made him so arrogant This kind of sportsmanship will NEVER be A CHAMPION
This behavior is very disrespectful and should be dealt with, if you believe this means he will never be a champion then you never watched any other sport ever
There are petty and sour champions too... but that´s why red cards exist, well sanctioned.
Dont be stupid, Djkokovic proves youre wrong
@@YewKongCheong-f1s He got frustrated and made a poor decision in the moment. Nothing to do with arrogance or whatever you are on.
FORTUNATELY there are STILL Men with their emotions and not just chinese robots. Aaaaaaallllleeeeezzzz Felixxxxxx
ai no caso so vao passar pano mesmo e deixar o mano jogar duplas e etc kkkk
Arrogance. Has no class. Zhang Jike was like this too. Cost him 10k. That should be done in here too. Lesson has to be learned.
Let him behave as he wants. I will have a reason to have an unfavorite player)))
Just a simple red card. Who cares about it. Latin blood flowing through his veins. Passion 🤷, feelings...a human. That's what we saw during Montpellier, Latin passion. Like Italian football, like sports in south America... Passion. If some cultures are different...well it's up to them. Maybe it's annoying for some people, but it's not a crime anyway.
It's not the first time, so I'm not sure it'll be the last. So I really hate the Lebrun brothers. They keep deluding themselves that they are the number one in this sports game. To win, you have to accept defeat.
@@hongson3049 jalous

Truls Moregard has had bigger moments in terms of chucking the racket.
Same here. I just watch their games to see whether they are going to be defeated or not.
I dont like anything french because they think they are king of the world which makes them selfish and wicked.
I like his play but his immoderate reaction sometumes makes me dislike him. It's good see many young non-Chinese top player like Harimoto and Lebron. I hope him learn the manner like Malong and FanZD that respect opponents.
I'm pretty sure in sports it's normal to have emotional outbursts, disqualification is when a player breaches the code of conducts, but I don't really see a big problem here besides breaking the ad screen which isn't much to be disqualified for. Unless however he had racket abuse and other code violations, but I think otherwise it's unfair to disqualify a player purely on their emotions alone without great disruption of the code of conduct.
ALLEEEEZ, LEBRUN'S!!!!!🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵
So what was the point of the red card 🤷.
I didn’t know they gave red cards in table tennis. I thought that was just for football
Wang was suspended due to this kind of behiavour
I'm Thai. I watch this kind of sport and never really liked this pair of brothers. Very spoiled😡
Much worst gor Zhang Jike during his winning, he was so glad that caused him to kick the 2 advertisement boards It seemed that Xhang Jike should not win a game because he get mad in winning. Lol
lol that same behavior in other sports would not even own a yellow card or be mentioned anywhere. Regarded as totally normal…
It's the past ! Your late bro !
Unfair. MEINER MEINUNG NACH. Was andere denken. Vor allem Franzosen... Mir egal.
a kid will be a kid !
Because of that, I really don't think Felix is a good player.
That is not for the first time, in my memory, very often.
Even he is very young, that's not good at sportsmanship.
Tu as son niveau ? Non ? Ferme ta gueule.🎉
chill out bro, these are lessons to be learned. He is an amazing player. Best pen-hold player i have ever seen.
Yeah calm down
@@S3ndMast3rNo denying he is special and has potential but he is nowhere near the same stratosphere as the likes of Xu Xin, Wang Hao, Liu Guoliang and Ma Lin.
@@S3ndMast3r it’s just your opinion and nothing wrong. So here is mine. If you think he is the best pen-holder I suggest you to research more about other pen-holders🧐 He is not quite close to those legends. Again it’s just my opinion.
Its like Truls a few years ago. These people are young and could do mistakes like in this case. But what we should not do is totaly shame them for it and give them a bad reputation as a player or person. Make it clear that these things have big consequences and let them learn. But yes he is an adult and should know better and i hope we wont see him do this again.
Well officially must do something otherwise will happen again and even fighting.
😢😢😢😢😢🎉
Both brothers are having a bad attitude in sports.
He is human, good for him!!! Felicitations Felix, ai would have done worse!!! Respect 💖
A lot of pressure to Felix. Same to WCQ as number 1 in the world.
Big deal. He’s very competitive and a perfectionist and human these things happen.
Thats convenient.
So contrary to your video's title Felix was not disqualified from the tournament. You really need to title your video''s correctly.
he is disqualified. please research more.
He should be fined for the damages. Red card is not enough
He does need to pay compensation for the broken screen.
Je vais me désabonner...
Anak kecil bergaya peringkat 1 dunia, gak boleh kalah lalu marah marah, kualitas rendah makanya cari sensasi !!
18 is a little too old to be having tantrums. Im all for having villains in this sport but not in this way
It was good to calm down, I was starting to get stuck up
The German guy is actually rubbish but manages to finish off joe 90, which is very good!
I think Felix and his brother are extremely arrogant, since the first time I saw them play I couldn't like them
He like that spoiled brat of tennis - "John McEnroe"

This is why i don't care for Felix, his brother, Ruwen Filus and others that throw their paddles...such bad and disgusting behavior. It truly sets a bad example for others, especially kids. There is absolutely NO reason for childish behavior like this. We.all get angry, sure....handle it like grown adults...not like spoiled children....PERIOD!!
Mistakes happen, the important thing is to learn from them !
This looks like Moreegardh’s earlier demeanour; thankfully he grew out of it!
Until a paddle hits a kid and blinds them, then ITTF will stand around doing nothing and by then it will be too late. They should impose a 12 month ban, period!
Easy for you to say when you're not an 18 year old who is at the top level of a sport.
Dont forget he's young, and we do some stupid things when we are young. This video is too long to explain this mistake, no one deserves it.
Yes he is young but 18yo is too old for someone to throw tantrums in a public stage. Don’t forget that he is a professional player and hence should face consequences as one.
@eclipse1161 I dont forget he s a professional ans I dont justify his failure there. I just mean we can Do some mistakes under pressure sometimes, and I think he did learn the lesson. Remember what I m going to say : I can bet what you want that he ll never throw his racket again
Your comment proved the degenerate of people in nowadays society. Him being young is not an excuse. I was his age and lost tough games in badminton tournaments too. I never behaved like him and we didn't see young players in the past often do that. Social media nowadays is defending them too much and made them reckless the self control disregarding the consequence. That kind of thinking is what made things get worse and worse.
BS....We all were that young, but that is NO excuse. I didn't do stupid crap like this. There's no excuse and you condoning it is only making it worse. Hold these athletes accountable....PERIOD!!
@pham1020 were you professional ? Were you the 1st french who won a 🏅 since 30 years in olympic games, at 17 y o ? He got a lot if pressure, he thraw his racket once, he learnt the lesson, he ll never do this again
Yah, and ze wimpee french boy is no match for ze big German, he cry like baby, yah. danke
Don't think he can ever grow up to control his tamper.
Roger Federer was like that at this age....he finally became a true gentleman on court...so it makes no sense to allready think Felix will not be able to change his behaviour.
He is a fenomenal player and shows his love for the game in a positive manner most of the time...lets not be so harsh on this guy
By throwing a racket like that, he was so disrespectful to people, to say the least. So why shouldn't people think of him the same way?
A lesson: you may throw your racket, BUT don't break the court side screen 🥲
take examples from Korean players, very respectful, brought up by good parents.
