I've been the biggest Lebrun fan worldwide since they burst onto the scene only 2 yrs back. So just image my exquisite delight on seeing this spectacle not to mention the absolutely insane battle of the bros yesterday (Alexis' knees hitting the floor 3 times in that BEST RALLY EVER!)! Greatest tournament ever yet held on earth. Thank you WTT and your excellent commentators, thank you Montpellier for staging this sensational show, congratulations France and Felix!!!🔥🔥🔥

@@indobro11piano Thankfully they didn't listen to the constant whining about camera angles. The new ones are significantly better. Handshake should certainly be included though.

Not quite sure how I am ever going to enjoy watching a table tennis match after seeing this one. The pace, the energy, the variation ... the bar has been kicked up into the sky.
It's UNbelievable. There amount of balls that Felix puts on that opponents can't deal with. It seems to me his Bh has a different kick to it. Something the Chinese can't replicate to train against. Secondly Felix only telegraphs his shot at contact. Looks super difficult to anticipate. Third, his variation in serve and rally spins and speeds are so necessary at the top level. He does it so well. Just awesome. And only 18 years old. Ma Long is shaking his head and smiling now I'm sure. He would love the challenge.

Given the facial expressions of the Chinese at the beginning of the match, he seems very ironic about the points he loses at the beginning. I'm convinced that he had looked down on Felix and saw himself winning this match before even having played it. Your over-interpretation of his facials during the match! As I expected, many Chinese in media don't like their Chinese teams have dominated TT too long, and give their congrats to Felix Lebrun for his win in his hometown. Many years ago China began to send TT coaches to some countries including France. It was a Chinese coach let Felix chose pin-hold and trained him from childhood. Much earlier, J V Waldner went to a Chinese TT base for training, which is just a part of the China's grand and long plan of training world TT players in order to cultivate their own true foreign opponents.

The fast tables help the euro players as that is what they play on a lot, it's like clay the grass in tennis. DHS tables hold the ball up so much. Hopefully they will keep changing the tables up so the Chinese don't always get there favourite tables to play on.

@@Hefnandi Yes. Flavien Cotton is actually 117 in the seniors ranking at the age of 16 only. He is especially n°6 in the youth world ranking, behind Lin Shidong and Félix who are 1 and 2. So he will be 20 years old for the next Olympics, of course he still has to confirm his level.
Exactly, Felix Lebrun has had an unprecedented rise in the French rankings and Flavien Coton has almost the same rise for the moment. He is very promising, cadet world champion but he must confirm, however beating the Chinese team will be very difficult even with a third top player
