I hate wearing respirators, for once I actually like the design of the one you have. What’s the part number for the assembly? Was looking into getting that one but I couldn’t find that configuration anywhere. Thanks!

StaticXxx, What's up brother, Of course you're a real welder, I run my heat hot, penetrate the galvanize, I'm working the puddle, I cut through, Fill in, You'll get the nack of it, And you will never need a grinder, Practice, Have a great night

Preston, When I start, I wash top and bottom to get the puddle started , And I whip and pause, And keep a consistent Size puddle, But I'm fighting the galvanize, So I'm going ahead and then back filling the puddle, It's a constant battle to get beauty, You'll figure it out, That's why many people can't do it in one pass, It takes practice, You're always fighting the galvanize, That's what makes it so challenging, I love it, Have a great night!

How come you just don’t run 6010 instead? I know it’s not as strong, but it has deeper penetration it burns through the galvanize better.

    • @jetweldingllc4691

jf3ash, Good morning, P5, I would use it as a root pass if the galvanizes overwhelming , But as you see I have no issues with penetration, A lot of people cannot Weld galvanize, especially with one pass, Like I produce, One and done,This is structural, 7018 series wire ,We do not use 60 series wire, It is against our religion, And the Welding inspector will fail everything that was done with 60 series wire,. A lot of people don't read The general notes on the drawings, In the structural iron worker industry, 70 series only! Maybe you're doing a home project or some stupid s***, This is about strength, That's why structural welding is done with 70 series. .
      Thanks for your comment

jf3, I love P5 6010 , It's probably my favorite stick rod, And I never could use it in this business, But when I'm at home and doing all kinds of stupid s***, 6010 is it, Not trying to be negative at all on the last comment but, We have a lot of men come out that can't Weld Galvanize, It has to look nice., You have to have your s*** together if you know what I mean, Talk to you soon brother
