The Bloomberg article states that the devs scrapped the vehicle system because it wouldn’t make sense after they spent all the time designing the squad’s traversal sets. They definitely had more than enough time to make it.
Since this game is unfortunately still canon, they should've somehow explained the cut content in their rushed ending. Robin being alive is important to the canon, and 99% of people will never know this because they didn't follow the cut content.
Well rocksteady knew they messed up big time by having it part of the arkhamverse. So you know what they'll do? Theyll just distant themselves from it and say like how their 3 arkham games became a pinnacle point of gaming
Thinking this game is canon is like coping about it being good just bc you spent money on it. Nobody’s accepting this game into the canon and the people involved in its creation shouldn’t have acted like they knew what they were doing
If I'm not mistaken as cut content, there should also be various members of the league who help you during missions in the metropolis after saving them, as a kind of special moves or as an assist.
Yes this is true and you can find icons for that in the files. It would’ve worked like a special attack however not sure what it was planned for I assume the final fight against what was supposed to be Brainiac Prime who also didn’t make the Final Cut and was just a reused boss. Pure conjecture, but I'd guess it was some kind of handoff to another Batman (who would have played the role if the game had continued). This obviously wouldn't work with what we got since the game's story had to basically be closed out. But - it would still be nice to hear. I actually find the development of this game more interesting than the game itself - unfortunately Rocksteady can't make an open and honest "making of" at this time.

I feel so bad they did not get to finish this game or keep content going. I also feel bad I did not try the game until this free psn monthly game. I’ve been playing for a few weeks now and I’m absolutely hooked with almost 60-80 hours. Only unlocked the joker and can’t wait to unlock the other characters to gear up.
The BIGGEST sin this game committed was not finishing the story they were originally telling. Instead haphazardly throwing together a clone thing and then being like “okay bye” was such a slap in the face. The whole game was a slap in the face really but still. It’s just such a shame this is what we wasted 10 years of rocksteady talent and Kevin’s final performance as Batman on. Honestly since Arkham knight the narrative of the Arkham series has been lackluster. Somtimes I like to imagine it all ended with jokers body being carried out of the monarch theatre.
The justice league were always meant to be clones.. that’s why they dropped hints throughout each fight with a member of JL. The real flash had his thumb cut off, he returned evil & suddenly had a thumb? Green lantern’s ring answering to shark, and then dropping in the ocean instead of flying away.. that shot was on purpose Batman calling Harley “Quinnzel” constantly? Since when did he start calling her that again. But brainiac called Harley Quinnzel a lot.. yet another hint Superman tanking kryptonite to the heart, even Wonder Woman said that should have killed him It’s always been the plan to have these be clones
After hearing the cut dialogue about Brainiac’s resurrection systems and flash’s nervous system being damaged from it taking him out of the fight, I think the clone thing was just pulled out last minute to just give one final goodbye. i picked up the game for 5 bucks on sale, it was really obvious about halfway through that they had to make the story stretch to a year of content and that really hurt it, but i had fun after the poorly tutorialized first couple hours were done. problem is the base end game is garbage. terribly paced and a ludicrous grind. only bothered to get deathstroke, who had a much better incursion set up. baffling that they didn't re-work the base endgame to be more like the alter additions. a shame they weren't able to make an actual cutscene and use the conroy lines, i was really hoping they would and it was the only reason i bothered with the final episode. also the game features the worst battlepass skins I've ever seen, the fact that they expected people to shell out 10 bucks per pass for those awful skins is insane. outside of the waynetech harley skins its awful. overall i think its a lot better than it was given credit for but also a lot of the criticism was valid, it took me 13 hours to be done with the game, and another 15 doing the incursions and moppingup achievements. let the game with 5 left to do as i couldn't be bothered to get their 2 and 3 venom stuff or finishing out the challenges and getting the squad to level 50. if the other characters were more enticing then maybe but didn't care for anyone outside of slade, which was another major issue was the DLC line up and designs were just lame.

I've already finished the main story of the game and now I'm trying to unlock the characters, but when I activate a certain episode it gets mixed up with episode 8 (which is the current season) and with that I'm unable to collect Riddler trophies and complete the challenges as well. Do you know if there's any way to keep only the episode of my choice active?
@PineappleSwae Yes, I do that, but then the missions get mixed up. For example, I select episode 1 and then the missions from episode 1 and episode 8 appear on the map and the Riddler trophies and challenges only appear from episode 8.
@guilhermeomgc3992 yeah the missions will always stay on the map and it’ll showcase riddler stuff but you are in the episode 1 area so just make sure you are doing episode 1 missions and you’ll be able to find EP1 riddler stuff as well. It’s confusing but you are not doing anything wrong
I'm happy with Kevin Conroys final lines appearing in the animated Crisis movie. It was dialogue true to Batman AND with Mark Hamill. Anything else now would feel like it's taking away from that.

Yes you go to the nexus and select the episode you want to go to and it will show up on your map
