- In this episode I'm going on my first proper toy hunt of 2023 at 2nd Childhood Toys and Collectables in Western Sydney. The crew from Keep on Collecting and Totally Taylor Retro Hunters are joining me, as well dig through countless tubs for vintage figures and accessories. After we wrap up the hunt, I'm sharing a bunch of additional pick-ups courtesy of the aforementioned legends! During this episode we talk everything from vintage TMNT to Bucky O-Hare and Skeleton Warriors!

There’s some stuff in that place Scott! Not sure I’d know were to start! But I do know I’d have loved rifling through all those storage tubs, I love having a good rake through random stuff lol.

My thoughts exactly when I walked through the door Luke, where to start!🤔 But digging through all the tubs of loose parts was definitely the highlight, I was happy with what I picked up and I have no doubt there's lots there yet to be discovered. Oh what can be said about the Keep on Collecting boys that hasn't already been said... absolute champions!👊
Awesome toy hunt Scott!! Bin digging is OG toy hunting. Very cool store. I would have spent hours going through all those bins. Love the autographs! I love collecting autos as well. That ghostbusters down under book is great! This toy community definitely has great people! Glad you completed your 88 & 89 turtle runs. Hard thing to do with all the accessories these figures have. Hope you can get yourself a sewer playset. It’s an amazing playset that will stand out in your display. Looking forward to your next video!

Amazing video Scott, I think that store is worth the visit! I saw a tub labelled CORPS and was keen to know if they are 80's versions! The G.I Joe collection was huge also! Congrats on your TMNT completions of 88 and 89!

Oh man, those accessory bins are the best! Congrats on finding those missing ones, no more sleepless nights thinking abot egg grenades and microphones then, haha. Also, gotta love the ex-rental stuff. Sort of a forbidden fruit kind of deal, since we're not supposed to have those in our possession, but now it's possible. I just found the ex-rental vhs tape of the first TMNT movie which I've been after for years. In my country we have these nice, big clamshell cases for them, with slightly different graphic layouts and wordings compared to the regular releases.
It's rare I get the opportunity to dig for loose accessories to complete my vintage figures, normally I have to buy multiple action figures to complete one, so it was really cool! I agree, it's always fun seeing those ex-rental stickers in your collection. As you say it's something we were never supposed to have and also a reminder of an era long gone. That's awesome, I love the 1990 TMNT movie, such a great one for the collection. Hope all is well in Finland!

Radical dude! That place have lots of GI Joe and TMNT! Also lots of loose parts and other awesome figures. I won't know where to start if I enter that cool shop....
Thanks Charlie! For sure, the selection of GI Joes (both old and new) was huge. It's not often you have the opportunity to hunt for loose weapons so that was the highlight of this hunt for me!
