The amplifier is split into two sections for true stereo. This method is used to make sure there's zero noise and blend between the channels, just like your high end home audio stereo amplifier. If I cracked open my Yamaha it's literally split in two, with bare pcb board connecting the two sides. The board in the center helps filter out noise and deliver clean signal to the right and left amplifiers.
The car audio world will never see amps with this kind of quality again. We are headed, or already at a mono amp/ subwoofer driven market that could care less about music.
Thanks brother. Amazing quality video from cell phones these days! I use the iPhone X for most of my vids. Quality is comparable with $2500 video cameras in my tests.
No, she won't have anywhere near that going to the tweets. No tweeter can handle 300 watts rms going to it. The crossover that limits the frequency range to the tweeter WILL limit a BUNCH of power going to the drivers.

Yep, Soundstream did have separated boards, those were some sweet amps, I believe they were class A. I remember they were always hot, no matter what volume level. but one of the cleanest sounding amps back then. I have seen them melted to trunk liner.
