When I watch videos of cemeteries, I think of all the people who once lived, and had hopes and dreams just like we today. All forgotten in time. Most of those now gone are forgotten because those who knew them are also gone. And all those memories of joy, laughter, and charity, lost forever, like tears in rain. I knew an elderly gentleman who as a neighbour once told me, that as an impoverished child of the 1930s, he was one of many kids who would go to school without shoes on his feet, but he sometimes had gold rings on his fingers. seems grave robbing was rampant in the lean old days of the early days of the Irish free state. many of the destroyed coffins you see in these excursions, i am sure were broken into back in the day., in order to steal the mementoes buried with the dead. thinking about it, it must have been a gruesome undertaking, especially breaking open lead coffins with the putrefied remains therein. but i am sure there were rich rewards for those mad enough, bad enough, or simply poor enough to do so.

When you see this it kind of makes you realise that life is incredibly short. Those people were once just kids themselves with their whole lives in front of them and now they are long gone, never to be heard from ever again and id imagine most of them are completely forgotten, not even known to of existed but for the names on the graves. In a couple of hundred years or less, we will all look exactly the same, a pile of bones or grains of dust scattered across the Earth. Theres two things in life that are certain. One is death and the other is that the government will tax us death.

It's pretty common here in the States to remove bodies and re inter them elsewhere and re use the land. In one such case, the headstones were dumped at the foot of the Ben Franklin bridge in Philadelphia and some stones can be read at low tide. Elsewhere, where a cemetary located on a valuable piece of land , was purchased by a bank that paid to move all the bodies and build a new church replacing the one that stood there. Does it make sense to relocate the bodies and make a park or something on the land?

At 4:12 that mans voice pretty clearly says, "please stop filming". Which is strange considering back in the 1800's no one would have known what filming was. So if it was a spirit of some sort it would mean even after death you continue learning. Did you add the voice into the video just to make it extra creepy or is that something that really happened. If thats legit it is pretty crazy.

OK. I have questions about 1:12 That coffin is open and the bed is raised to display.
Does that mean that this person has always been exposed like this?
Next. There seems to be WAY more bones in that coffin than there should be. Could those be fake flowers all around the body??
