@@remwastaken this is usually correct, but in this case "tba" in the video description leads me to believe he just hasn't finished the run yet (well, it's also true that it could just mean he hasn't uploaded the rest, but usually he just puts a link to a private video and unprivates it when it's time IIRC)

We could take Burglar because of the synergy with To Do List. 3 out of 9 chance to hit one of either High Card, Pair, or Two Pair.
Since we started with Oops, we could also take Burglar for the possibility of synergy with Parking or Business Card. We don't know which of those will show up first nor how long it will take, but they're common enough we can count on one of them showing up. At the time, we had empty Joker Slots, so we could pick up Burglar, planning to sell it off when our Slots fill up.
But the real reason I took the Burglar is just vibes. Didn't even think about it other than "we want this for later," not thinking about all the time between now and "later." This did end up making DNA awkward to use (just like when we were doing the Pants run).
If Ectoplasm hadn't shown up, we might have sold off the Burglar. But you take Ectoplasm because you aren't guaranteed to see another one later and maybe want 2 total by the end.
Having Burglar this early means we miss out on Purple Seals, but we did gain the benefit (via Parking) of being able to spend $500 every shop, rerolling for Tarot.
The chonky cat has to be one of my fav jokers because it rewards using the gamble luckies

Is showman for a second oops technology we'd consider? Blueprints scale total triggers(thru hands*retriggers) as (n+2)^2, but a second dice doubles your lucky triggers. So 3 blueprints is better than 2 plus dice, but 4 is worse than 3 plus dice. Obv not as good for scoring long term
You could say this was quite the lucky coincidence.

dunno if this is stupid or not, but why not hold the temperance and wait for it to scale with egg at 33:18?
While holding onto Temperance, it blocks other Temperance cards from spawning. A normal Arcana Pack has about 1 in 7 chance of giving Temperance, and a Jumbo has about 1 in 4 chance. Including shop rerolls, you get at least one Temperance every Ante.
Also, it's early on in the run, when we're still setting up our Jokers. It's worthwhile to have the Temperance money up front and then invest that money in other value generators right away. In general, money depreciates in value over time.

Is this modded balatro or is this actually possible? I've finished 8 antes for 3 times until now. I played almost 3,4 hrs a day for a week and this video just seems science fiction wildddd😂😂😂

Possible, Sock&Buskin gives the same amount of triggers as well, queens just score more is my guess as to why hes doing it
wannna say that not taking drunkard on round 20 shop loses money because with bungler it's just 3 more hands, but after quick math my conclusion is that it really depends, but drunkard probably would earn on average 30 more gold a round
I'm trying to get your line of thought, but Burglar gives +3 hands and removes all discards, regardless of how many discards you had you'll get the same +3 hands (effect compatible with Blueprint), it doesn't have a hand to discard ratio. With Bungler, Drunkard just does nothing but take up a joker slot.
(I might be forgetting something, I have been diagnosed with dumb before)

Dude no.... thats not okay. That is the best ante 1 & 2 of all time... Found Negative 6's, Polychrome Red Seal Queen of Hearts, easily strengthable once into a king. Then finds the magician, and finds THAT queen to lucky it, into BOTH MULT AND MONEY! AND, just to add icing to the cake. still finds the previously Golded 7, all without using a single discard in the big blind.
Please tell me what the odds are of that...

When I try to do a lucky cat run I get no magicians untill ante 7 but when professor does it he gets a negative oops, all 6! first round. Life aint fair

@@artemiskearney8019 Maybe "most flower pots" could be fun? Something like Perkeo -> copy a bunch of Ankhs -> eternal Flower Pot -> Ectoplasm it -> get the biggest bouquet in Balatro?
You could do that for just about any joker, I suppose, but given how strange Flower Pot is in terms of the way you have to play with it, it'd be a little unique in that regard. (EDIT: Not sure if UA-cam's buggy comment system ate my previous comment, but I was thinking about "most copies of Flower Pot," probably using Perkeo and Ankh.)
