Seen this time and time again where everything is left, house closed up and left to decay. Aging in place no doubt. As an elderly person, watching these urbex adventures got me off my butt and I've considerably downsized possessions and am preparing myself for a much much smaller place. I only have one son and he wants neither the house nor most of the stuff, so I'm setting things up to make it easier to liquidate assets and avoid probate here in the US.

Great idea! It's sad when you can clearly see that as the person got older, they could no longer cope with such a large property and so it ends up something like what you see in our videos. Downsizing is the best idea as we age I think.

7:56. Maybe the swans in the cabinet were originally atop a wedding cake and are made of marzipan or sugar icing. 2 lessons to learn from these type of videos 1 Don’t wallpaper 2 Don’t plant ivy.🧐31:36. I bet that is the couple who lived here. Excellent explore. Thanks for taking us with you!!

Such a lovely home but such a shame with everything left behind. So much china left behind. If the family didn’t want it they could have donated it to charity. Thank you for sharing your explore with us. 😊

Where’s the owner’s? Sad to see it get so much damage by idiots trashing stuff! I wish I had a house like that, it’s such a treasure and it’s fixable at this point. I hope your safe, thanks for letting us see the home.

Thanks for your comment! I'm assuming the owners have passed away and no-one else has bothered with the house since then for some reason.

Looks like she lasted 10 year longer,by the look ov the lack of dust, maybe died very recently,if these people are solitary,no relations,no one locally interacts with them, maybe proximerty of the house, they might just walk out one day,no identification, maybe get found or die on the spot, there house would be like that one, I've tried for 6 year's to rationalize theses abandoned house's in tact.x

Why do I always picture London children romping around these farmhouses in the 1940s?

I’ve just found your channel and I’ve been watching a lot of your videos. I really enjoy them. I’ve just been watching the one about an abandoned farmhouse. They looked a lovely couple what I can’t understand and I’ve said this before to other UA-camrs why don’t the children take over the house and sort it out or The grandchildren there’s a lot of lovely photos in there would you probably just go to ruin if no one goes in and sorts it out? I can never understand why these houses are just left and no one bothers with them. I mean the children or the grandchildren.

I agree, it's a real puzzle. We went to one not so long back that had been completely left to rot. It was a huge farm with out buildings etc. We found out later that the children just lived up the road. They'd tried to seal it for years but folks just kept getting in so they gave up! Everything was in that house. Why didn't they sell it? I'll never understand it, it's such a waste.
Thank you for watching our videos, we how you enjoy the channel! 💚
