Potpourri was the dried leaves in the vase, would give off a beautiful floral fragrance in its day, this home would have been beautiful too, such a sad shame to let it all rot away..please turn off any lights if you can, to save a possible house fire, no doubt faulty electrics after all this time.

Amazing ancient house, with an authentic 70s hippy pad vibe. Took me right back, but I really, really liked it, especially the living room with the velvet chairs. And you two are hilarious where cobwebs are concerned.😂 so pleased your companions were of the friendly type this time.😊❤

Nice little find I noticed when you were upstairs that mirror you picked up had a little key taped to the back of it shame we will never know what it was for, and the house is isn't really that bad I always wonder why they are left to rot it's a shame. When I heard them other explorers I thought you might have been caught by the neighbours next door 😂.

It's a shame the food couldn't be taken to a foodbank being as things were in date. But I know it's illegal for items to be taken. Maybe the family will come to sort it out as it does seem very recent. My Dad has moved to a care home recently, which happened quite quickly. This reminds me of his house before we could sort it.

I bet he was a nice old chap who lived here, so well stocked and organised, pretty tidy and clean. He had some very good old pieces expecially the carved cupboard. Lovely little bungalow, perfect for a single old gent.

The tools in the box under the microwave are engineers V blocks and clamps.

Really interesting home, I liked alot of his things. He apparently had some awards as well that was nice. Looks like he was alone and had medical issues sadly. I do think he must have passed away in his bed sadly. It's always sad to me that so many people's things are just left and nobody to take care of the memories or their things left behind. Looks like it was pretty recent he passed away 😢 My favorite items was the Christmas Cards❤ and I always love the real wood furniture items. I thought his living room was nice. With all that food still well in date and how clean inside the bungalow and how well kept garden I would of been very worried as they could of be in hospital or care home and not died you never know but it hasn't been abandoned very long

That was an interesting explore thanks I can’t see that place being open for much longer and by the look of that bed I think he must’ve passed away in that bed. I should imagine it won’t be long before some family will come and clean that out. it looked really fresh 👍

Nice lil find there guys! I recently gave our granddaughter my childhood view master not as old as the one you found though! I loved mine as a kid! My mum had the same tea leaf dispenser, which she filled with sugar when they moved on to tea bags! Thanks for another great explore guys! ❤

Hi the thing in the kitchen is called a caddy matic tea despenser from the 1960 came in a few colours to match your kitchen lots to see and bean lovers lol I loved the glass thing with seahorses in it and that willow plate you picked up out of the box my mum had lots of the big oval ones great find both i think rob has a hat fetish lol only joking 😀 😅😅😅😅
