However I don’t have a lifter in my one car garage , besides that I’m an old guy doing that on the floor working underneath of the truck is difficult to me so I did it sliding the truck bed back enough only to have space to pull the fuel pump so I was able to work standing up , yes posible it’s more work doing it as I did but it works for me🤷♂️👍💪

Seems like it would've been easier to just loosen the filler neck, evap stuff, and remove the pump wiring connector before lowering the tank a lot more where you'd have a lot more space to work.

2011 Tacoma. I was fueling and added some Lucas fuel additive. What I didn't notice is a little white disc that was on the open end of the bottle when I took the lid off. Yep, it fell into my fuel tank when I began to pour it in.. I'm worried it's going to damage the fuel pump?! Anybody...any advice?

My man took the time to make a video,edit and post while having kids to show you how to do something you obviously aren’t sure of how to do…….and your gonna be so privileged as to say something about the back ground noise of a family man?😂😂😂 we live in such a spoiled, entitled country

Hi. The fuel filter is located in the tank which is the fuel pump strainer. Yes I do one of the island. Happy to see my video helping you out brotha.
When I attempted to remove my gas tank straps both bolts snapped off and the pins were seized!

Yes it's called a fuel strainer

Unfortunately it’s in the fuel pump, at least that’s how it was on my ‘07.
I just left Toyota dealership trying to get a fuel filter.$725.00 for fuel pump on my 06 4 cyl.About $1200 installed
