Nice video. Good to see 80080 at the start. First and only mainline excursion ive ever been on was behind 80080 from Boston to Skegness in the early 90's
Thank you for showing this, it really made for enjoyable viewing, its great to see these giants actually doing what they do best, living breathing machines, at least there's one thing to be said for steam, they can pull 9 carriages easily, and there was more chance of getting a seat, than on these West and East Coast trains that run with only two or three carriages
Hope you enjoy your day out. The White Rose 13.11.14 Kx to York return hauled by A4 Union of South Africa...both should be good runs,Im hoping the driver turns up the wick lol By the way excellent compilation...hats off to you sir...I simply would`nt have the patience...great stuff...Steam forever eh?
Thats what I call an Excellent film. the only place I did not know was the Paignton and Darmouth Railway.but never been there. Filmed in all the others, THANK YOU
Its good to see all that TLC put into all those locos to keep them running and a sight to see, a lot better than stuffed and mounted which to me is absolute cruelty to the eyes. Thanks for .a very good video keep up the good work
