I look for things like the box with the broken flower. I use them in my mosaics. I chip off the cover around the flower. I attach it to my piece and cover the broken part with something else, usually another flower from a different piece.
Great haul, Kat! The fabric doll on the embroidery hoop that you thought might be Holly Hobbie is actually Sunbonnet Sue, a popular vintage quilt block design from back in the day.
just love to shop with you Kat,,, I have been getting out more trying to relearn walking as well not having panic/anxiety attacks being in public,, thanks for your shopping videos they help me want to be a regular person pre surgery,,,
I'm happy to help. I'm not a fan of crowds myself. This store luckily majority of the time I was the only one shopping. I think I saw 3 others the whole time I was there which was nice
I like your videos on both your channels. As a crafter I really appreciate that you value handmade items! Not many people realize how long it takes to make an item or the cost of supplies.
Happy to see you again. I just don’t like plush like many people to. My kids, noses, stuff from their mouths, just dirty germs on their stuffies, pillows too..
Hi Kat, I go to Suwanne Thrift also. They are so kind and they're prices a real good. Made me smile when I seen you also shop there. I live in Dixie County.
Isnt it crazy how those 80's jacquard pillows are selling? Depends on design but they are always over $20 and can go for $100's. That larger basket with the branch handles may have been worth $20. If it was handmade Id probably grab it. Baskets are having a moment. I saw that Hadley plate and mentally screamed at you! Obviously, you heard me, lol. So happy youre back, Kat. Glad you are over the worst of all thats been happening. My sister was just diagnosed with a very rare muscle wasting disease and its turned our lives upside down so quickly. Life can turn on a dime so lets make the most of it while we can. Hope you bring Dalton with you next trip, miss seeing him too♥️
Since you said they sell so well I tried to look them up, but I couldn’t find anything that sold. What would you search for if you were researching 80s jacquard pillows. I would like to learn more about that.
Hi Kat! I’m happy to hear you all fared well during the hurricane. I was so impressed that you managed to keep everything going during the power outage!! I noticed a couple of older catalogs that you missed. They can bring good money depending on the year. The Christmas ones from my childhood(60’s) are the best!
So many different and fun things. I think the Italian purse could be Fiorenzi, from the 50's or 60's. I hope you do a Cloisonné video in your other channel, such beautiful art, but it's really hard to figure out which is Chinese, Japanese, Indian, etc. Thanks again for sharing, your effort is always appreciated it.
Next time I am down your way, I will look for the Suwannee Thrift. 😊 Looked like a pretty good size store to plunder in and you found some good items. 😊 Go Gators !!
@@katstreasurehuntingI hope you enjoy it . ❤ I just sold one of the vintage wool blankets earlier today. It definitely was a good trip and thanks for the tips on wearing the go pro necklace holder 😂
So happy you’re back! My husband wants to start watching videos so I sent him this one to start with…he likes to go sourcing with me and wants to learn! I see a lot of handcrafted items but never pick them up unless it’s needlepoint or cross stitch, because I didn’t know if there would be much interest. I’d like to start giving them loving new homes!
I was shocked to see how much cypress knees sell for. Plain does well and hand painted even better. I found one that was made into a Santa and the average was selling for $75-$100.
You need to go back and get the pillow you showed at the beginning of the video you said would bring $40-$70. There was another one just like it on tbe shelf below.
@@katstreasurehunting the only “thrifting” I can do anymore is through you tube videos. I enjoy the visual treasure hunt. I have so much useless (useful?) info in my head that I want to share it so others can benefit! Too bad you cant stream live so I can watch and remark in real time. 😂
I think it's "A Very Happy Anniversary" So glad you are back! I'v missed your videos. Has eBay quit letting us see what other's have sold? I always like to check to see has been selling, but the past week, I haven't been able too.
I think that is Sunbonnet Sue, not Holly Hobbie? I’m thinking the Mary Hadley is A Very Happy Anniversary? I’m not familiar with Mary Hadley, thanks for calling her to our attention, will do more research.
At the 3:18 mark, on the wall looks like an older picture. Has (I think) tiger wood frame and possibly bubble glass front? I couldn’t get a good look. I have done well with some of those as well. Depends on the subject matter and condition.
I sold some license plates only one time - I got so many questions if I would be able to do the transfer form from dmv, then finally sold them and they decided they didn't want them cause it would cost too much to get them on to their car - BUT they never actually returned them so eBay had me keep my money 😀 - just decided I didn't want to go down that road again. Didn't know about the 3 year thing though and now I am trying to remember how many years back mine were from - maybe that was the issue? I am pretty sure it was close to that at least.
That’s a beautiful Mexican bag ❤
Yes I think so too!
The German bags, the one in question says "have a good trip". Great finds!
Thank you!
I have a set of Hadley S&P shakers listed. I recognized the style right away. Looks like you needed to bring your cart in the store! Great finds!
Lol yes I kept dropping off to the front counter lol
I hope Dalton has a wonderful school year ❤❤❤
Thank you!
I look for things like the box with the broken flower. I use them in my mosaics. I chip off the cover around the flower. I attach it to my piece and cover the broken part with something else, usually another flower from a different piece.
Oh that sounds wonderful I bet they're beautiful!

Lol I always confuse them 😅

Hey there! Thanks for watching
Hi Kat! Enjoyed this thrift haul.
Thanks so much!
Happy to see you again. I just don’t like plush like many people to. My kids, noses, stuff from their mouths, just dirty germs on their stuffies, pillows too..
SO glad you are back and all is well. I need to learn more about your membership. I have done well with linens which I NEVER looked at before you😊💕
Wonderful! I do a lot with my memberships over on my main Nurse Flipper channel
I'm happy to hear you're all okay after "Debby!" Mostly I'm thrilled to see your videos; I've missed them! Thank you Kat!!!
Thank you so much!
Hi Kat, I go to Suwanne Thrift also. They are so kind and they're prices a real good. Made me smile when I seen you also shop there. I live in Dixie County.
Yeah I've went there for a couple years I lived here ten years and didn't see them until a couple years ago they are amazing people for sure

Yes it can do that for sure we have to cherish each minute ❤️

Love the little duck! Wish you would have gotten the deer pillow! It would have gone with the Duck pillow I purchased from you a while back! 🤣
Yes I should've got it
What a fun haul at a very interesting store. Happy thrifting. 😊
Thank you! 😊

Please do! They're a great store
Missed ya❤
I'm happy to be back
So happy to see you! xx
Thank you!!
The one item says "A Very Happy Anniversary", not Happy Anniversary Avery. So glad it is not personalized, Kat. Great selling!
Thank you 😊
Nice to see you thrifting yay . I learn so much from those videos! Great finds especially the wine bottles . Thanks for taking us along .
You are so welcome! I hope to have a chance to check yours out soon I've been so busy. I just went to suwannee and hospice today no time to even drive

I love doing it though they do take a while sometimes to sell
That brass and enamel footed midcentury astray is so cool @12:52.
Yes for sure I'm glad I got it

I was shocked to see how much cypress knees sell for. Plain does well and hand painted even better. I found one that was made into a Santa and the average was selling for $75-$100.
Oh that is awesome
It say a very happy anniversary. Not Avery. Thought you might want to know. ✌️
Ohhhh yes thank you 😊
You need to go back and get the pillow you showed at the beginning of the video you said would bring $40-$70. There was another one just like it on tbe shelf below.
Ohhhh yes I'll go look
Gute Farht is Have a good trip.
Thank you
Around the 20:00 mark were some older sears and Penny catalogs. The Christmas wishlist ones can do well.
Oh thank you I'll have to check them out ! I didn't even notice them

I'm sure someone already mentioned it but the Hadley is ' A. VERY. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY' Not Avery! 😁
Yes! Thank you!
I think it's "A Very Happy Anniversary" So glad you are back! I'v missed your videos. Has eBay quit letting us see what other's have sold? I always like to check to see has been selling, but the past week, I haven't been able too.

Lol lol yes on both and I always confuse the two

Oh good eye I notice the oval ones but I didn't even look at that one à thank you

Very possibly
You know anything that says ghut farht is going to sell 😂
Lol lol that we can hope
Buccees sell thru should be very good. 😊
Yes I've done well with it previously
You should have filmed the S word that you couldn’t read. Firen-say (Firenze) and Murr-ano (not Myour) - quick Italiano lesson!
I tried lol it wouldn't focus
Glad to see you back!
Happy to be back
