I can’t confirm it 100% but we’ve begun to notice a trend for supply. Basically it seems any of these “battle force,” boxes seem to get under produced. Any of the “Army Sets,” think DW Assault and and Kroot Hunting pack seem to get immense resources poured into them. We get every allocation we request on those
We requested several hundred of each battle force and got 2 of each, same with Orks and Custodes and only got 3 of each. It sucks for sure, more production would be good, but I think a lot of is priority rather than lack of production capacity.
I tried to buy some CSM today, 9:58 I added them to my basket, hit checkout and I get a notification saying they had insufficient stock. Then at 10:05 I get an email advertising the exact same products I just tried to buy. Absolute fail.
The only guarantee is that the combat patrol GSC box will be far worse
I grabbed one when this became apparent.

It gives 25 models total, 20 infantry, four characters and one epic hero. 525pts per box with the only lost value in box being the Patriarch Genestealer, meaning that a second purchase of the box will give you 440pts rather than 525pts in total. Two boxes would be the most *reasonable* purchase, as it would get you to 965pts, giving you just enough points to take 35pts worth of enhancements.
It would be a fairly okay combat patrol, and whilst it wouldn't be as good as the current combat patrol (625pts with 0 redundancy and you can buy two or three boxes viably), I think this is likely be the closest to what we are going to see with maybe less Neophytes and more of a different Infantry unit instead or taking out one of the character models (Probably the Saboteur) for an infantry unit.
Yeh it's currently a gold teir box set for an army.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only out of stock.
Worth noting that the Combat Patrols for both GSC and Sisters are already "sold out online" on GWs own store page - meaning no restock for either. If you wanted one of them, your FLGS or other dealer of choice might still have some, but ordering more is not an option anymore.
Which is painful as I wanted a GSC Combat Patrol before they left. The new one will absolutely be worse. If it isnt, I'll be intensely surpised and more than a little suspicious.
@@kronksstronkstonks6360 Don't want to make your day any worse, but there is as high a chance of the next GSC CP having better value than the current one as earth rotating backwards all of a sudden.
The next CP will most likely only come out after Junes price increases. So add those on top of the (just as likely) worse value composition in terms of models compared to today.

I'm being over the top but honestly there is zero chance its as useful as the now out of stock one. The only thing that couldve made that Combat Patrol Better was a more solid character choice, but even thats subjective since most characters are good to have at least one of. It was almost literally perfect for us so of course they don't want to keep it.

-40K: new character nobody asked for in Sisters and GSC, and worse combat patrols (RIP GSC). Perhaps a couple of FOMO boxes.
-HH: another resin character
-Imperialis: another HH tank they missed
-Necromunda: another resin character
Also price increases.

@@RenegadeY It's monopose in poses you can't get anywhere else, with unique bits as well. Sisters models are very kitbash friendly so I actually like the box a lot. Despise the canoness it comes with though.

People want a limousine kit already, don't need more characters make them honor guard or transport if you have to just bring back the mad max aesthetic coolest part of the original artwork IMHO

Listen, I just got to say, that genestealer cult guy with the big mouth, bit of a grimace showing, the uniband orange sunglasses, the detonator in one hand, dynamite in the other, holy shit he is an 11/10 model. He is RADICAL. Loadsa people photoshop him onto a skateboard. Like, I think that model alone can sell people on the faction.
Likely would be two characters for GSC and Sisters due to them being recent plastic armies that received two waves in 7th, 8th or 9th. We will see bigger releaase of them either in 11th or 12th

I’m expecting a character + battleforce release for sisters and gsc. I’m hoping we get to see more about the mystery codex because that’s the only one that’s caught my attention. I expect it to be agents of imperium but I’m curious how it’ll work and what models come.

Well at least we can be pretty certain that when the Votann codex comes out, it won't be having a refresh of the model sculpts. Hopefully we get more than that new Hernkyn set and a few characters.

The only thing I want GW to announce right now is an apology for the last month. They’ve been fucking up left and right for 30 days straight. If we can make Sony bend the knee, we can make GW as well. Titanium hands on your wallets, brothers and sisters.
I'd be surprised if GW gave Sisters more than a character model (Probably a jump pack canoness), only real options would be new Cult Imperialis models, or maybe a new Celestian box so they can charge 60 bucks for five sisters with bolters. Mostly it'll just be the Blackstone Fortress preacher models repackaged as single heroes.

Dark Mechanicus maybe for the mystery codex? Also, legions imperialis scale primarchs sounds silly. I can't wait and see Warhammer try and charge £30 for an 8mm model.

I want a jumppack Cannoness. I'm more interested in rules though. I know GW hates indirect so I don't have too high hopes for the Excorsist but unless Sisters get special versions of meltaguns and multimeltas to be an actual threat to tanks they need antitank bad. I don't think it'd be too much to give the EML the HK missle profile but make it 3 shots or 3+D3 shots. S14 would threaten even the hardiest of vehicles and monsters but limited to 3 it's not going to be broken. Sisters biggest weakness, even though they are doing exceptionally well, is cracking tanks. S8 just doesn't cut it. Either that or give "melta" weapons "antitank/monster 4+". 16% more effectiveness would help Sisters a lot while also benefiting every other faction with "melta" weapons and not make them feel left out.
Then again Sisters do have the better flamers 😅😅

I don't think will see vehicles for their new Combat Patrols, they have been more focused on Infantry, and not saying this is bad or good just what I think will be.
I don't play but I hope Death Watch will stay its own thing to at least try out the new 10th ed style, and a way to revamp it is let it take Chapter Specific stuff from other chapters with the exception of Special characters. Just have it follow the Incursion = 250 etc rule they have for other mixed armies.
Small Primarchs would get me into playing Imperials.
There some nice signal models that I will probably kit bash over to 40/30k
I'm really hoping votann get something this summer, it'd be pretty unfair for us to have to play with half an army for most of the edition.

We still have the 3 'Summer' codices which should take us through August before we're completely in the dark, so maybe a potential new Codex Roadmap is being saved up for June/July?
We know from reliable rumor sources that BA's are on tap, and we had all those Guard/Krieg Rumor Engine pics from this past Crimbo's advent calendar.
Maybe GW throw in Imperial + Chaos Knights as a quick throw-away release alongside BA's being the 'big' release in the Fall?
Do we get a "Cadia Stands 2: Krieg Re-do" style release for Guard before the year's out?! (ie: the launch box pre-orders end of Nov -> release 7-10 days before Xmas -> full release in early Feb)
We absolutely need another Chaos book of some flavour though... at this point, Chaos has basically been all but abandoned this edition, while Xenos & Imperium factions have been feasting, and Marines of course. 😞

Yeah, CSM's did great on their detachments, though there's also a number of shocking nerfs in there too; Oblits & Spawn being hard capped at 2 models/unit, Venomcrawler nerf, Possessed + MoP mega-nerfs, Cultists being hard-shafted, Beastmen still unplayably awful, Traitor Guard no longer being able to double-up on weapon upgrades, etc...
My DG & WE's I have exactly 0 hopes of them being relevant or in any way remotely fun this edition, simply because they're far too limited in their available data sheets. (WE's especially so)
The other Chaos codices don't need Detachments, they desperately need *actual model releases* so they're more than just 3-4 'unique' datasheets + a handful of CSM and/or AoS cast-offs! (...just waiting for 1kSons to get the Ogroig Mage-thingy as their "brand new" model "release" this edition!Lol ;-) )
I don't play "competitive" at all, and honestly, 10th edition for me is just one giant dumpster fire, removing all the flavour and crunch for bland, boring & hugely limited ways to build/play your army this edition.
(My Blood Axes Orks for example are 100% unplayable for me this edition due to how they've ruined Kommandos & Tankbustas)

they might do roadmaps for each system again, although they tend to be kind of useless for the main systems, only showing things they already announced for the main part.
Obviously, I'm most excited for 40k stuff. I'm one of those people who does hope that the redacted book is a book for the Agents of the Imperium, so long as that doesn't spoil them still being available for other Imperium factions, ad Allies, but then we KNOW both Chaos Daemons AND Chaos Knights will get books, and they'll both keep working fine for Abbie's Legions, so it should work. Personally, I think that they should fold the Deathwatch into any AotI book; Space Marines already have a history, in lore, for me, of just showing up in the smallest numbers imaginable, and just cutting the head off of the snake, but even for people who like to argue that wirh me, when the Black Templars show up at Armageddon, with a Crusade force, or the Minotaurs show up at Chapter strength, to kill whoever, that's literally how Deathwatch work; theyvsend a squad, or two, and that's about it. With the Space Marines codex already done, and them still being the least played faction, I don't feel like it would hurt much to give Deathwatch at least an alternative way to play, and if it instead meant that some Imperial factions actually COULD take a squad of Astartes...that would literally be like a dream, too me, with Guard being able to field rhe one, or two, squads of Space Marines I've always wanted them to be able to, and maybe an Inquisitor accompanying them, like Eisenhorn, who does happen to be Ordo Xenos, anyway.
I can honestly say I don't care a lick about Horus Heresy; Space Marines are already dominant enough in 40k, they didn't need their own narrow game with extra, weird models 40k can't even use. Legions Imperialus is neat, but I also still kind of don't care.
Something else I DO care about, though, is Necromunda. I'm not in any danger of needing to build a gang, but there are elements I like. I'm a decent fan of House Escher, and particularly House Van Saar, but beyond them, I'm fond of their other special characters, and even more than that, I'm still happily anticipating when they'll please redo the Spire Hunters. I really like the Spyrers, and while there's little reason to just expect they will make an appearance, I choose to keep being hopeful! 😊
My guess is the unknown codex will be agents of the imperium and it will be shown off at the next preview show after these ones coming up, by itself with a bunch of models and a box. Make a spectacle out of it. I want Emperors children now but my guess is end of the edition or start of next as launch box stuff.
I wonder if the Inquisition release will be where the Death Cult and Crusaders get a release?

Roadmap update, but I'm waiting on AoS 4th launch box since they promised terrain and foldable board, and that likely means that also is coming for 40K 11th.

Personally I have 3 full armies of resin models, all direct scans of GW. They'd have to saw them in half to tell the difference, so fuck them. Everyone should play with recasts and proxies

I know it wont happen, but I cant think of a better way for GW to please disenfranchised admech players than giving plastic mechanicum compatible with 40K along with the rules revision dataslate.
i wouldnt be supprised in legions announce mechanicum there alongside normal HH release, afterall all tehy have to do is shrink the CAD file and modify the assembly for the smaller scale

I hope the Agents of the Imperium get some love. I've been working on an Agents army just for fun. Being able to legally bring some Death Watch would be a dream.
Roll Deathwatch AND Grey Knights into Agents of Imperium. Detatchment options for Xenos and Daemons respectively. A detatchment that is mostly Agents, with some drafting from Guard / Soritas for a heretic detatchment. Then 2-3 detatchments that are more combined arms focused.

No.... it's because the vast majority of the player mass is either out playing this weekend or has a good perspective on life where they know that WH40k is a hobby and just one component of their lives. They don't waste time repetitively whining about all the bs. It isn't that they are naive or not listening-- they listen. It is just simply that they have a life they want to spend their time in, rather than online forums/social media that leave them emotionally exhausted and empty.

As commenter above you said, the vast majority of 40k players who are casuals are living life in the real world and not whining on YT or Reddit or Facebook.
40k has always been expensive. I have been playing since 95. I remember when the plastic LR came out in 3rd edition 20 years ago. It was $50. Minimum wage for a burger flipper was $7.25. Now the LR is $80 so not even double what it was but the average burger flipper is making $15+ so more than double meaning that LR is technically cheaper than it was 20 years ago if you compare price:minutes worked.
I remember 15 years ago hanging out in the Dakkadakka forums. 5k members and yet those 5k tried to gaslight and say they were the "voice of the community". Pretty sure 5k is at most 1% of the community.😅😅
