Hey all, 1st time commenter here, Leeds. I just picked up this exact same model, in black, but with silver 19"ers and I'm ecstatic. Had her since last Saturday, 10 June 2023. I'm no petrol head. I've not owned a car in 10 years; this was the only car on the road I was interested in, it's wonderful.... I adore this car.
I had a scirocco same as this but in White, beautiful car and road holding was superb, interior was quality, superb car. Went onto Skoda Octavia VRs which always felt like a massive step down. Driving Golf GTi 8 now but still miss the Roc 😕
I think the price will never go down for this. Out of manufacturing and has a very well demand for the design. It's a piece of history - until well-designed electric cars will steal their place - I think.
Which car are you reviewing? I own a 2011 2.0 tsi. 32mpg is the absolute most I’ve seen. Also mine run 227bhp stock on a dyno. Almost sounds like you’re talking about the diesel. Good review nonetheless 👍
Hey, good review. Hard to find good content on Scirocco's! Its actually for sale but no by Rodden Cars, so wonder why it changed hands again - will check with the dealer. How was the condition, looks pretty clean?
Im going to be getting a Scirocco R very soon as it's my favourite car. Im looking at a 2016-17 model. Any recommendations such as manual or automatic? The automatic does cost a little more though.
@@JoshKemponcars I live in North London so its mainly streets but there are a few open roads. Ive always driven a manual and was wondering if automatic was better or If its something to try :)
In which case, I would suggest the DSG version as it will smooth for city driving without having to worry about the clutch and changing gear constantly but also very versatile and engaging when you want it to be on open roads by putting it into sport and using the paddles. Good luck in your search! 😎

Was looking at one of these for my next car. They’re still insanely expensive used, so might be a few years until I get my hands on one

Great cars! 👍 I would say it depends on what sort of driving you do? How far is your commute and what sort of roads you drive to get there.
