Regarding the temperature at home. I'm happy with 70f (21c) at home, however, Lulu is ALWAYS hot and so I'll have to keep an eye on those thermostats! Problem with heat pump heating systems I've been told is that you have to allow 1 day per degree. Give me gas central heating with radiators any day. They can be turned up or down fairly instantly. Good to see these videos again Bryan.
Yes it's a pity the camera doesn't show how steep the roads are. The gear indicator gives a good idea I guess. That area looks perfect for biking! We have the problem with drug driving too. You'd think they'd paint those sleeping Policemen white especially for night driving/riding up that road. Those narrow roads are my kinda roads! As you know, I love riding down roads/lanes like those and sometimes even if there's grass growing in the middle lol! Yes, the walkabout with the Gimble was much better. Nice to see another FJR. I noticed his crash bars on it. I may fit those Yamaha sliders in the future. Really enjoyed the vlog. Looking forward to seeing the next part.
When you missed your turn to Wal-Mart, that looks an awful lot like Dillsboro at that intersection. If so for future reference just turn left and it takes you to a Wal-Mart on the other side of town near Sylva, straight shot.
I would guess that the common area was the large grassy area with the large rocks lining it shortly before you turned into the driveway that's only a guess thanks for the videos I like it down in the Smoky Mountains also.
TwoWheelObsession He is correct, they are for rain water diversion on the sloped grades. If you remember, they were at an angle across the road. Now the other couple that were on the flat/flatter area, those might've been for speed reduction.
Ohhhh the beast that was growling in your teaser is at the back!
Great video and you are 100% correct about the horrible drivers up here, they are everywhere!
Those guys have some nice looking bikes. Can't wait to see the next video!
just awsome!! i have watched this video again and want to say you are going to have a great time !!!!
Oooh Tuono V4! You need to get him to let you ride it and do a review!

We are trailering our bikes into the area next month

That's where we went
Love watching these videos. Pretty entertaining.

Was that a black bear crossing the road/drive at +/- 19:24????
Maybe that first pull off is the camps version of a "common area"?
Enjoy the videos. Thanks.
Those weren't speed bumps. If they are on angle those are water bars. Diverts rain waters for erosion control
I wonder if the car in front of you was driving with the parking brake on, lol!
thoughts on radio active water in sinkhole.. go for a ride vlog on your thoughts for tampa drinking water
I don't think those are speed bumps. They're meant to push the rain water out of the road to the side ditch.
They are bumps. If you were there you would know.
TwoWheelObsession
Yes, it's visible in the video, but I think they're there because of the rain water on the roadbed, not to slow down vehicles.

Love it
Where were you and when were you down there? I was just there the 9th through the 12th with a few other riders.
Where did you find that beautiful house to rent? VRBO? If so, can you tell me the VRBO #. Thanks
