Wow a beautiful machine. It only needs a 4 speed shifter coming up from the floor and a blacked out grille. Amazing that for 73' they still had sporty vehicles you could buy. Very end of performance right before the emissions systems kicked in.
Wow, that's a real mean '73 Dart Sport 340, I love it, wish I still had my '74 Dart Sport, 318, 4spd, I bought that car in 1988, wish I never traded it for a '73 Dodge Monaco, which was a nice car!!! That SUMBITCH had a 440 in it!!! Mopar or no car
Hello there Al, Hope you are well sir. I am looking to buy a '73 dart here in cairo although im not too familiar with the car, could you point me in the right direction as to what to look out for? Thank you again!
Great car! The Holley knob threw me for a second, then I realized it was a choke knob. Pretty cool, I have never, ever seen one before. That's the same instrument panel as on a 70 Duster. I still remember wrecking my buddies 70 Duster, when I was 14. 😢 Stupid Mercedes cut me off in front of the Mercedes dealership. Our Duster hubcap popped off of the and flew over 100 feet and landed on the hood of a brand new Mercedes, for sale. Doh!! I ended up being a lifelong Mopar fan. 73 Charger, 73 Challenger, 74 Duster, 69 Road Runner, 69.5 Super Bee. You are a lucky man, my friend. Thank you for the memories 👍
I had a 73 Dart Sport, Basin Street Blue with white stripe (same as your black) but mine had the white interior, bucket seats and center console. No hood scoop. Wish I still had it.
Great car! My first car was just the 225 slant 6 version. Mine had the markers on the fenders so you could see if you had the turn signals on, maybe yours doesn't because of the hood scoop and you wouldn't see them? Mine had a driver's side rear view mirror only and it was round. I see you have 2 of them and they are bullet shaped. Is was that a factory option or aftermarket?
The mirrors were a factory option with the "rallye package" All 73 Dart Sports with the 340 automatically came with the rallye package. As far as chrome vs painted I don't know. The mirrors on my 73 Dart 340 Sport were painted.
I had he same car but in banana yellow and Hurst 4 speed and Cragars wheels L60 15 back E70 14 front
My second car was 74 Dart Sport 4 speed loved that car put a 69h/p 340 in it fast fast
Does yours have the fold down back seat
Nice car Mr. Albert. Best Regards
Nice car
Auto...Can"t see it.
I've got a 1970 340 in sassy grass green. Love those 340's

Dude you sound like my old Army buddy from Fall Rivers. Wicked car !!!
you mean fall riva?
👍😎👍
Alright, I'll just say it "the emperor has no clothes". This is not a Dodge Dart it is a Plymouth Duster!
It’s the Dodge Dart version of the Plymouth Duster aka Dart “Sport”. They were surprisingly quick.
Looks like the Duster I came close to death in.
Got ejected out the back window. Not sure why I survived.
