Thank you for showing us your perfect, beautiful car. While everyone is focused on hemis, LS-6’s and the like, you’ve brought this back to ground level, and presented what the GP was driving. I sure wish I had hoarded a couple. Probably rarer than a hemi now . .
@@radkozlowsky The sixes, regardless of make, were fairly smooth, modestly peppy when tuned right, and I just enjoyed driving them. I had ‘70 AMC Hornet coupe w/ a 258. It did unholy burnouts, and got great mileage. I always loved the slant, tho. Good engines.
Those Dodge red circle hubcaps with the wide steelies and those white lettered tires you can't ever wrong. Id love me one with a 4 or 5 speed manual trans on it.
I had a 72' Aspen wagon that had the Super Six but the previous owner had a put a 4 barrel Carter carburetor, high rise intake and a set of 3 cylinder headers on it. It did have quite a bit of power for a Slant 6 but I never Dyno'ed it. I had it parked for a while because I needed to replace the Brake Master Cylinder in it but the City came and towed it away because the registration was expired and it was parked on a public road.
@@radkozlowsky No, I never did. But when I see these old Slant 6s still running it reminds me of that car. It wasn't the prettiest car, it was white with red pin striping and red interior.
Very nice. The thing thats make this extra cool is, It dosent have a v8. Also a super 6, with 3.55s, 4 speed, in a feather duster 2400lb, in 0-60 time and speed up to 70 was equal to a 340. Fact. Read it yourself. Plus I had 1.
Love the slant six, probably my favorite engine! Love the a bodies, all of them! But I have to ask, did you really paint that car turd Brown? When you repaint it with a color, don't forget to paint the engine compartment to match it's a Mopar
yes I painted it 20 years ago to refresh but keeping the same original colour. i plan to do another repaint and this time perhaps with full stipout and engine bay to match.
Nice clean 73❤

probably yes, I was not so happy with the power of it but on the other hand its the slant six and that makes up for it.
