Great colors inside and out. Like the Cragar wheels.

66 Barracuda & 66 Charger. 2 of the most underappreciated cars of the 60's.

I had one minus the racing stripe! I had factory AC, top stereo with back speakers & cassette, tac, disc brakes & wood grain interior! I loved it! I did burn some rubber in those days! Coming back from Santa Barbara coast hwy one early Sunday morn no other cars I got my one & only speeding ticket. I must say the police man was really good he could have really hit me with a big fine. He smiled & said you know it took me sometime to catch up with you. You must be in a hurry to go to church! :)

They put these cars together in odd ways, in at least in my opinion. I have a 66 4sp, 8 3/4 rear 323 w/suregrip , HD suspension 14" wheels, but 180 and not an S. I knew who bought it new, and got the WS and BS, including 4 issues of the owners club magazine. To regress, the car came with Satellite hub caps. Those 14" Barracuda hubcaps are extremely hard to find. The dealer, even new, didn't have them, as the car was probably shipped without them. Standard 13" are not that easy either. Why this car has everything an S has without the engine is weird. Didn't have a tach, had the vacuum gauge with a dealer added Sun Tach. You could order a car anyway you wanted it, back then. You could even delete things that were standard, like the fender mounted reminder turn signals. I know a guy that did that because he thought they were too grandma looking. The good old days!

very beautiful with those rims, on mine I have the infamous original 13 inch 5x4 bolt pattern with hubcaps and I am waiting for the moment to take them out and fit some of that style

That is a nice ride. The 66 is a generally unappreciated car. It's time will come.

Beautiful car in that color, especially with the white upholstery. Mine was metallic bronze with the white upholstery. Much better visibility than the other cars I "liked" in '66. And I could sleep in the back anytime I couldn't find a hotel. Nowadays, if I wanted that kind of visibility, I suppose I'd be limited to a regular cab pickup.

We have two. (66s) One of them oddly, has the valiant badging on back window and grille.

The 1964 was also called "Barracuda", although it was a Plymouth Valiant Barracuda.

A built 318 with 360 J heads can take a 360 out the hole. Shorter stroke.

this to me is irresistible MOPAR 66 formula S CUDA , except for the cragars and the radio : keep it factory.

Why Cragar wheels? What's wrong with stock or rally steels? Gheese, kids these days! Otherwise, a very nice build!

Rally wheels didn't exist in 1966. Cragars were a factory option for 1965 Darts.
