Thanks for the video!! My parents bought most of these and a lot of vehicles for my brother and I back in the early 80's . Since they bought 2 of each for he and I mom put red nail polish on one of the feet of one of the figures to differentiate between his and mine so we wouldn't argue if we were playing with each others figures! Brings back good memories. Hope everyone who reads this is doing well.

@@JB-ug5mf I'm based in the UK. That sounds like an impressive lot up in the attic, those are all very collectible toy lines these days. There are several approaches to selling - eBay, Facebook Groups, dealers such as specialist vintage shops - you could try to sell individual items or as a lot. Prices can vary depending on condition, completeness etc There are going some who will give stupidly low offers, so keep an eye out for that. eBay sold listings is a starting point for market values, but that's only a rough guide. Am happy to answer any questions / provide guidance if you ever need. Cheers 👍
Amazing video. Interesting to note that only 1 Darth Vader was released, for ANH and that was it. Curious as he is arguably the most famous character of the franchise and appeared in all 3 OG films.
Yeah, I guess they thought the Darth Vader figure was good enough. To be fair, it is a decent figure - but one variant at least would have been awesome 👍
Anyone else notice which vintage kenner star wars action figure is missing? Only 95 of the 96 are in this video. The Imperial Commander and the AT-AT Commander are both the same figure (the AT-AT Commander) the Imperial Commander is missing from this video.
What an awesome collection. I wish I bought up vintage figures when they were cheaper in the 2000s. I was to distracted by collecting modern figures. I do have some vintage figures but my pride and joy from my vintage collection is my Death Star playset, Sears exclusive Cantina, Sears exclusive Imperial Cruiser and 1978 Tie Fighter.

@@VintageToyRush The one with the Blue Snaggletooth is the Cantina Adventure Set. That's an awesome set. I have the Creature Cantina Action Playset. Not as popular but more "toyetic" in my opinion. It has a plastic base with pegs on it to hold figures as well as lever mechanisms to make figures fall over for playing out scenarios . It's a relabelled a Butch Cassidy set by Kenner from 1979 which was themed as a Saloon. Kenner just changed the cardboard backdrops and stickers to make it look like the Cantina.

I’m only going for last 79 as really don’t want to go for the increasingly expensive L17 … mind you some of the original 79 prices are going sky high as well😁 I’ve got 62 so far and I’ve decided to display in movie appearance for my cabinet. Nothing special 🤣 When I get a figure I just wipe it over with a damp cloth (or maybe a wet wipe). Lighter fluid can be used for stubborn marks. Some cold water washing for any of soft furnishings takes out any creases etc and that's about it 👍

No product of any kind is dated by production date but rather release date. Casual fans think the coo date stamp means you could buy the figures in 1977. Your video is wonderfully edited and very fun, just pointing out this very common mistake about the date
I have most of these figures. Sadly, the ones that are the most valuable are the last dozen or so. They were the ones of the last line when I stopped collecting them. How I wish now that I would have invested in them when they were first available.

Ah yes - this error has been commented on several times! Unfortunately, the way UA-cam works it's not really worth making an edit. It's very unlikely the new video would be put in front of people and I don't really want to remove this video as there's plenty of comments etc I don't to lose. Perhaps in the future, I may make an updated version. I appreciate the feedback - it's frustrating the error crept in, but this one was put together very quickly in time for May 4th!!
Great list, but it is missing several figures: 3 - Legged R2-D2, Blue Snaggletooth, Max Rebo, Sy Snootles, and Droopy McCool. I also count Jabba, Salacious Crumb, Dianoga, and the Probot as figures for my collection.

Can help notice you are missing one ( 2:27) the Imperial Commander has been substituted for General Veers or the AT-AT commander. I understand where you might be coming with this . It appears General Veers was the one in the Imperial commander card but in regular uniform .
Interesting fact You had 4-LOM and Zuckuss listed as their original card. However, 30 years later, it was discovered via George Lucas, that the one carded as Zuckuss is in fact 4-LOM, and vice versa, as Zuckuss is an insect looking creature, and 4-LOM is a tall droid bounty hunter So these two figures were carded and referenced wrong for many years

Interesting fact
You had 4-LOM and Zuckuss listed as their original card.
However, 30 years later, it was discovered via George Lucas, that the one carded as Zuckuss is in fact 4-LOM, and vice versa, as Zuckuss is an insect looking creature, and 4-LOM is a tall droid bounty hunter
So these two figures were carded and referenced wrong for many years

The Imperial Commander is missing - well he's listed but his picture is wrong - I used the AT-AT commander picture twice!!

@@VintageToyRush ive got a rather large collection of many in the package toys that hasnt seen the light of day in many many many years. as old as i am i still get star wars presents at christmas, its rather cool to open the wrapping and get a toy at my age. obviously i never open the box but its cool anyhow. ive actually got a force ghost obi wan, he is cool looking, totally see thru, made of a clear hard resin. i subscribed to your channel, thanks for the video.
