The Yucca forest looks awesome, very prehistoric looking.
One of my favorites of your forest compositions, looking good. Makes me want to try one of my own. Thanks for sharing Nigel!
I love the rather feminine form of the main tree. It's less obvious since you've rotated it in the repot, but it still has a curviness about it.
Hot is Hot. Doesn't matter where you're at, we all feel it and handle it in our own ways, we adapt to the environments we exist in. I've been enjoying the evening thunderstorms, not so much the flooding.
Tuff work getting the trees separated. But the good surgeon, Nigel is ahead of the game and is doing some great surgery on these roots.
So much more compelling and beautiful than I would ever expect from a yucca. Always love your forests
I think a plain name for them must be the Elephant tree especially those trunk and roots - amazing, wow 😊
Those trees are so cool! The bases look so neat, almost alien! That pot has a great story just like those trees do! Great match. We got to 23C today and I was able to go out in a Tshirt after lunch. I can't wait for menopause when the hot flashes start. Maybe then I'll be warm. LOL Great show Nigel, thank you!
Fantástico nuevo capitulo del serial Yucca. Bravo Nigel por conseguir tan magnífica composición.
Es la primera vez que veo un bosque de Yucas. FELICITACIONES, Nigel.
Un bosque muy original.
Salud.
🙇♂️
Wow those Yuccas have grown well. I remember watching when you repotted these, all of those years ago 😮
It's looking great and a very unique forest
Morning! Good looking, vigorous trees! Sadly perhaps the Yucca 5 are outgrowing their special Chinese home pot. and may need more acreage and room. Perhaps a diptych or triptych forest is an idea: separate plantings that create a single representation of a forest. Will growing them close together and compact help keep their leaves small as well as their overall miniaturization? Beautiful!! Thank you.
George's pot has an awesome history...and future!!!
I find the hollow on the big tree a pretty cool feature.
Amazing finish to this forest. Utterly fantastic!!!!!
7:10 imagine how much strength that shoot has to push through the old hard bark
Love these trees. I’d like to see the main tree rotated to see more of the width from the front. It looks fantastic from that angle, but probably not possible with the space constraints. Maybe you’ll treat them to a bigger pot one day!
Thanks!
this looks incredible!
would not have expected that from yucca, I've never seen them like that
This is my favourite planting of yours. Always nice when we get to see it: Looking forward fo Updates !
Monsoon season your way seems like. Cool full moon.
Amazing species and beautiful forest...they are really massive, but well placed 🎉🎉🎉
Hi Nigel, if I can remember, you didn’t work on it for a while 😂
Yes, it's been a while, I think the hard pruning of the top of the trees was the last thing I did!!
Your original ideas are brilliant, very inspiring, it must be so difficult to grow hot climate plants in Canada 😍
It is a challenge for sure!! Thanks!
Nice work as usual nigel. For a minute there i was thinking you were gonna need a bigger boat (pot) lol but you got them in.
I love that your front yard isn't a boring lawn!!!
My last one was a food producing jungle!😋
I have coined the Palm Tree style for my Yucca Bonsai, I also use the Palm Tree style for some of my Desert Rose bonsai. Nice job on the Yucca's.
Awesome, I like trees grown in the Palm tree style, I've always wanted to do a desert island miniature!!!
I was on vacation a few days ago and i saw a giant yucca like the examples in the video it made me think of your forest
Awesome!!!
Hi Nigel, are you going to celebrate 10 years on youtube? Any special videos for this occasion? 😊
Just love those fat bases and extreme taper. Beautiful. ❤
At 100% humidity and 37ºC and above, the human body can't cool down from sweat and you can overheat and eventually die. Not saying that can easily happen there, but leave the door of the greenhouse open if you're going to be inside and drink plenty of water!
👍👌👌
Bro I zoned out for a second and thought at 6:19 you were putting on an accent 🤦
As pretty as a Picture ....
