Now THAT was a COLLAB❗️You guys are going places! So exciting to see all your skills coming together in such cohesive piece of art Adam. God bless you 🙏✝️. ✌️🇷🇺☮️🇺🇦✌️. ✌️🇮🇱🤍✌️
Attila did such a great job on that pot/slab! It definitely is an alternative route of getting the trees to sit in place, though I dont think it would improve the roots over time! 😊😊
I got to see Kimura's garden in person last November and Kimura's mixture for his "stone" is really light he let me pick up one of the unplanted rocks he had in his garden.
I'm only a minute in so I shouldn't comment yet, but I love it so far! You look like you were carrying a small bonsai as you came across the screen for the first time:) fortunately I have a huge homemade broken pot that can be made into what you're doing, thanks!
You guys are amazing both of you ate very talented and you should be proud of your work you ate a great inspiration to new comers I love you videos thank you both so much ..
Even though other people told you what this plant is, I would still like to do it so that I feel satisfied. I thought I was cool cuz I knew what plant it was. So I checked my hort. resource and I was close but so wrong. I thought you'd find this funny. My first thought was Ligularia stenocephala 'The Rocket' but no that's yellow and not even related. I now know it's Umbilicus rupestris. I will add this to my horticulture knowledge bank. Thanks everyone.
Hi Adam, greetings from Bavaria, it's a great piece of art you both created. A question, a bit off topic: where did you bought the black background screen? Thanks Dieter
The pot itself took Attila 1 week to make. Then it took us 2 days to assemble the planting. (not counting the time it took to grow the trees to the thickness they are at now!) 🤗🌳🌳🌳
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Swamp cypress is well-suited to hot and humid climates like Texas. As a tree native to swampy regions of the southeastern US, they are highly adaptable to a variety of growing conditions, including hot summers and high humidity. In fact, the hot and humid climate of Houston would provide ideal conditions for swamp cypress to thrive and grow vigorously. Just be sure to give them enough water and moisture retention in the soil, as swamp cypress trees prefer moist to wet conditions 🤗🌿🌳
I think I would have done more root work in the previous years to get rid of the largest roots. Not that it matters as it looks great 👍 On a side note.. how do you not ruin your funky clothes? 🤣 I end up in a right state sometimes, lol. Great video, as always 👍
Ahh that would have looked even better for sure!! This is a good idea to keep in mind for super long term projects! If you work with soil that is on the dry side, I find it is easier to keep them clean (not all the time though lol) Thanks for watching Jake!
Terima kasih banyak! Senang bisa berbagi pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam dunia bonsai. Jangan ragu untuk terus mengikuti dan memberikan masukan. Semoga semua usaha bonsai kamu selalu sukses! 🌿🌸
I don't have access to a lot of moss here strangely enough. When I do this I'm worried the water will rinse all the dirt down to the bottom even if I covered it with something like coco coir. Does the moss keep the dirt from rinsing away?
I don't know if that is the best species for a slab unless you are good at never forgetting to water. I have a huge one that I plan on putting in a nice deep pot.
Absolutely brilliant Adam and Attila! The finished forest looks fantastic. All round great video, very well done 👏👏👏👍
Hey Dave! Thank you very much man! 🤗🌳
I'm going to try it!
Aw nice! I hope it goes well for you!!
FANtastic video! You two work so well together!!! Thank you for the creativity and inspiration you give to other bonsai enthusiasts.

Thanks very much Gaye! 🌳🤗✂🥳
Pretty amazing 😍 You both are so talented
Thank you so much for your kind words Kimberly 🤗🌳
That is an amazing pot and planting. It’s funny that you put the slant cut in because when I saw the pot it was the first thing I thought of 😂
Attila did such a great job on that pot/slab! It definitely is an alternative route of getting the trees to sit in place, though I dont think it would improve the roots over time! 😊😊
1st question how do i join the brotherhood? Nice to see something different. Very inspiring thanks.
That is an awesome pot and I like the way you overcame the securing problem. You seem to have a great partnership building with Attila :)
Thanks Xavier! 🤗 The Bamboo sticks really came in handy!!
Great work done here. Very well done Adam and Attila 👍
Thanks for the kind words Jason!! 😊
I got to see Kimura's garden in person last November and Kimura's mixture for his "stone" is really light he let me pick up one of the unplanted rocks he had in his garden.
Aw wow! That must have been so cool to see! That is interesting about the stone though!! I wonder what he uses in his plantings!
I loved that you added mushrooms to the forest! More folks should try to work fungi into bonsai. Nothing says mature forest like mushrooms 🍄
Hey thanks!! I love fungi! I supplement Lions Mane every day 🤗
Oh my .. that first tree looks like it was making cypress knees!
Oh wow it does!! Thanks for commenting this! I now know what cypress knees are 🤗🌳
Amazing!! Everything!!! You guys are amazing!!!
Thanks so much! You should check out Attila's channel @FangornBonsai

Thanks David! I hope it goes well for you!! 🤗

Great content! Would love me a cypress forest. You planting will turn out great. Maybe too many trees for my taste. Still beautiful forest planting🌲
Thank you so much John! 🤗
Brilliant job. But can you make a video please how to make the slab pot.
Hey! You can see how the slab was made over on Attilas channel! I have left a link in the video description 🤗🤗
Hi Adam, greetings from Bavaria, it's a great piece of art you both created. A question, a bit off topic: where did you bought the black background screen?
Thanks Dieter
Hey thank you for your kind words!! I believe this pull down roller is the back side of a white screen for a projector! 😊
Lovely job, how long did it take from start to finish
The pot itself took Attila 1 week to make. Then it took us 2 days to assemble the planting. (not counting the time it took to grow the trees to the thickness they are at now!) 🤗🌳🌳🌳
Great video! Do you think those trees would handle hot and humid climates like Houston Texas? It’s a sub tropical climate here.

Sweet composition Adam...foist I think
You are foist!! 🏆🏆

Hey! from what I have found - the soil stays on pretty well if you water it gently and dont blast it 🤗
what substrate did you use for this composition?🤔
Hey! The soil used in this planting is a mix of sphagnum moss and compost. This is because swamp cypress requires a lot of water 😀
Pleaso do a follow up 🥺
Awesome Adam 👊👊👊
Sorry I had to go mate 👊👊
No worries Andy!! Thank you for watching man!
