I think it also makes a difference that the group of dancers were actively dancing and the first girl was just standing there. People might not even have noticed she was filming something.
Yeah the lady that walked through the dance was just being rude af
From what i rad in the comments too it was in a mall where the middle is used for interment-so it was actually appropate, the woman just stood there and expected everyone to miss their train just cause she wants to take an aesthetic shot lol
That's what I've been saying, if I notice someone taking a quick pic in a photogenic place I'll pause or walk around, but I wouldn't expect someone to be filming in a place where everyone is rushing around trying to get to work or home. I bet most of those people didn't even notice her.
@@Man-wolf-yesss exactly, this is in my city in Australia, and performers book spaces to busk/perform
yeah. the dancers were clearly dancing + filming something. this girl was just standing and wasn't even looking at the camera so it would've been very easy for the people walking by to have missed that she was filming something. also personally i think with photos in such a tight space (like the subway vs the plaza type area the dancers were filming) it's also completely acceptable to go behind the other person. like i'm sorry but everyone behind you doesn't need to clear out so you can get a cute pic.
I honestly wouldn't even mind having people dancing in a park, I'd actually find that really fun and cool to watch
i’ve seen it before and it kind of makes me cringe idk
In a park would be fine but in the middle of the store drives me fucking nuts! Just let people shop in peace!!

for the cover group, they have to get busking permits to do their performance in public. i follow the girl who posted that and they put in so much effort, from learning the choreo to making the outfits themselves. and it's also really obvious that they're filming something important cuz they have a literal cameraman (they post full covers on yt, not just the tiktoks). maybe walking in front of the camera is more excusable, but going IN BETWEEN the dancers is so rude. and ngl that choreo has a lot of quick movements so walking through the dancers could've actually gotten that person hurt.

They’re like any other buskers in the city. And they apparently had a permit to be there and film there. They did their due diligence.
It would’ve been cool and artistic if she kept the footage of people walking around her while she stands there posing and being beautiful in a mundane place and turned it into a message about living life slowly, appreciating the little things and being present in the moment because so many people struggle to do those things. Love your videos Cooper! I’m sick and binge watching ❤️
Idk why people get mad about teenagers dancing in public. I mean obviously they can't afford to get an actual set to dance in. It's not main character energy, it's taking advantage of public spaces which are free
As long as they are not hindering other's people's enjoyment of the public space in any way.
exactly! as long as they aren't rude about people walking into frame, because that's bound to happen
That area is Rundle mall in Australia, and you book spaces to perform/busk
It just matters where and when. A public park? Sure. Making a nuisance inside a store? Main character syndrome.
Just matters when and where. Sometimes you need to not use public spaces for something just because it's "public", cause other people are actually using them for their intended purposes at the same time as you wanting to do something outside of what it's used for normally.
Also some people have poor understandings of what a public space actually is. Like majority of buildings are not "public space". They're actually private property even if it's an open one like a library or store for example.
@meowselina so they paid to dance there? Well then honestly they have all the right to be annoyed at people walking in front of the camera because they basically rented the space.
honestly, the fact that he is saying "this ISNT the person making the tweets" with such a big audience is so important
and yet, half the comments didnt even get to that part, and/or have listening comprehension difficulties
I'm still not convinced its not her, like, we just believe her?
for the kpop dancers in the big open area specifically, the person who interrupted them has such clearly mean intentions bc they didnt just walk in front of the camera; they tried to WEAVE THROUGH the group of dancers. it would be rude to do that to people who are just standing around having a conversation, let alone doing a clearly choreographed dance. it's okay to not like people dancing in public but that person's actions are just mean-spirited

In my personal opinion, I absolutely LOVE when there are people walking in the foreground of aesthetic videos like that… with the right editing and angle that could look awesome!
For 3-5 years I was actively in hiding from a violent stalker ex and it was incredibly difficult to go to live music or even restaurants or ANYWHERE in public, because I had to avoid being captured in the background of random selfies or some awful “friends” wouldn’t take my precautions seriously and still post pics of me… I finally gave up going out, because too many people were willing to put me in danger just to post something on their social media. When people don’t want to be in your photos or videos, there’s probably a good reason and that should be respected WITHOUT having to justify their reasons…
SERIOUSLY!! What happened to early internet etiquette of blurring out people in the background? I remember SO many older YT videos being filmed publicly with everyone’s faces blurred. Now there’s just zero common courtesy with that shit
This reminds me of people who record at the gym. It’s a public place and people should not be required to watch out for phones in every step they take.
I saw this lovely video once where the person who was recording in the gym politely asked the person next to them if they could record and if they minded being on the video. Ik it's the bare minimum but yeah
Love how everyone in the comments is missing the point of this video.

Either way her reaction really doesn't mean anything that ppl have to take away from tbh @ least accurately maybe they gave dirty looks idkkkkkk idccx
Yeah idk why so many comments sound like theyve only seen the first two minutes of the vid. No one's mentioning the fact that the twitter acc is not hers. Like Cooper said, the original girl is annoying but nowhere near as bad as the twitter acc.
He doesn’t reveal that till about 5 mins into the video. People comment as they watch the video, not after the video is completely done. He should have started with the fact that someone is impersonating her.

I work at a gallery and people try to record TikTok dances in front of the art, it’s embarrassing.
@@letterborneVods call me cynical, but I don’t think this is so much about enjoying life as it is getting something aesthetic for the gram. Also, the majority of the time, I don’t think this is how artists envision their work being appreciated. It doesn’t make them awful people and no they’re not ‘hurting’ anyone, I just think it’s fair if OP finds it irritating when they’re enjoying a piece of art for its original purpose - to be looked at.
I dont think she’s even mad at them, she must’ve reshot this like 20 plus times and since she has to wait for the underground to come back over and over again she’s probably just annoyed in general.
then maybe just dont take stuff like that in public bc you cannot avoid people
Especially if you’re trying to hop on a trend and make a living out of those videos I get her frustration. Also as an artist I get annoyed when people move or move the thing I am drawing. They see me or don’t I get annoyed but then it’s fine.

I went to the twitter girls profile and a lot of her posts are genuinely real experiences of what women go through but her account is filled with incels and victim blaming now
edit: i’m not saying i agree with this girl i just think it’s upsetting seeing such a breeding ground for incels because the pain women have dealt with is very real
I know that account too. This person knows what they're doing. Their following is mostly incels anyway. They post ~just girly things~ just to be dickish.
I checked it out too they were not impersonating the other girl they just made a post about it and everyone assumed it was her they already had a ton of twts before this specific one just one look at their acc will tell u they're not impersonating anyone . Edit: this acc popped up on my fyp again and they're a piece of shit lol looks like the 5 secs of fame this first twt gave them went over their head lol
Victim blaming as in general, or as in this specific situation?
i think she's a radical feminist idk
I do think its a bit strange though how she keeps bringing up being pretty and "pretty privilege not existing".
My close friend does social media as a part of her career path in fashion, and I’ve took photos and videos with her before in towns but we ALWAYS just wait when we see anyone walking past or retake the video because it’s not their faults! Sometimes she even goes out of her way to find a more quiet area so we aren’t disrupting. This just honestly screams entitlement. She says it takes ten seconds to wait, well it can take ten seconds for you to find a better place to capture yourself or just retake it.
One more thing, the dance group who were doing the "tiktok dance" perform their covers in specific areas around malls, parks, etc. which are used by influencers to film their videos in a semi-public setting. People know these areas are used for that, which is why the dance group is not annoying AT ALL. That guy is entirely the problem here.
I fully agree with you on the first situation. I think the outrage to the tweet came from a place of "you're trying to get the aesthetics of the underground while minimizing and complaining about the people who really use it and rely on it"
Which I think is a very valid criticism of the reposter because it seems like that's how she really would act if that was her video. But that's not quite the situation and it's unfortunate that the original poster of the video is getting all the backlash.
I physically cannot even look up when I’m public in case I look at someone and they look back, I couldn’t IMAGINE filming in peoples way and then getting mad about it! 😭 I think we should all just be respectful of each others space

Agreed, reading these comments was just internet talk based opinions lol
Gotta say, I don't get a single word of this comment. Not tryin' to hate, but 1st: "I don't think there's nothing wrong" is confusing. Not sure what you meant. Second "self awareness of others" doesn't make sense. It's either self-awareness, or awareness of others. And third, not all of us are "our own main characters." The whole point of calling out this behavior is to shame the lack of humility these people exhibit. We aren't characters at all. We're just conscious beings who observe things and do things. We have goals and needs. So does everyone else. Our life is not a story. We are not any more important than the other people around us. The term "main character" is meant to refer to people who think they are the center of all things important. No one matters that much. We barely matter at all. We only matter to the people we love. And that's okay. Also, I don't agree that the lady pretending to be the train influencer is all that bad. She's just vocalizing the thoughts that lady clearly had in that moment. The influencer is not a good person, and is also an overpaid and over-privileged person. So I think it's fine that someone is mocking her in this way. It's not nice. I wouldn't do it. But I wouldn't call it an injustice. Someone making six figures to take 1 minute videos of themselves in front of trains is its own kind of injustice.
Except none of us are the main character lol, prioritise your own well being obviously but it gives it such a weird sense of self importance to call yourself the “main character”.

i think the stress levels of the space also make a difference when filming in public. in places like train stations or airports, everyone is stressed, thinking about what platform or gate they need to be at, all the steps they need to take to get where they need to go, connecting flights or trains, trying to meet someone or get directions or making sure they’re in the right place. like i love train stations because they contain such multitudes of people and it feels nice to be around that sometimes, but it’s also weird to assume that people don’t have their own lives and stressors and places to be. a park or a mall is so different to that because it’s where things are more leisurely and you’re more likely to see things like flask mobs or buskers and people taking a moment to watch
My friend accidentally walked in front of a girl at school filming a tiktok twice and the girl tried to start a fight with her over it..
omg the clip at 8:30 is in my city and i remember watching this dance group practice in the mall a few times a week and it SO WIDE like they're in the middle of a very wide strip mall and there's so much room to walk around on both sides, there's literally no reason for that woman to walk through the dance routine other than pure spite. people who busk or perform in the mall need a permit - so this group were legally allowed to be there, and they aren't the only people that perform in the mall. no one else has a problem with the dance group or other performers in the mall
In case anyone is interested, K-ua Crew is the name of their group and you can find them here on UA-cam. I think I recall seeing a video only once where they did a dance in front of a subway station on entrance to a mall or something- which can absolutely be annoying for any travelers, but by and large I think they always choose a public space with lots of room (even if they only have 3 dancers) so they don't hinder anyone's route.
i think i saw this story before, and someone mentioned that she could have improvised and done a timelapse standing very still. that way the people would have blurred around her and she'd stand out even more.

Cooper, i don't know if you're gonna see this but even tho you're a commentary youtuber, it feels like I'm talking to a friend every time I watch your videos and it's honestly really comforting, thanks for what you do Cooper and keep doing it
also....
I'm thinkin bout prayin to this 🙏🏽
Same I'm really thinkin bout praying to this 🙏
@@likes.of_oldcrows praying to this is a smart idea 🙏🏽
The dance troop looks like they are in an outtdoor place that would have this sort of thing (think Disney), and to walk through the middle of them is insanely rude. They may have been asked to come and perform. so to do that to them is awful :( I feel bad.
11:34 that was actually a flawless impression
1:21 how BIG does ur ego have to be to make a tweet like this 💀
I know it’s a good day when Cooper posts a video
Dang this is such an interesting and nuanced topic and I think you really did it justice! I do want to add my perspective on the way gender plays a role in this situation. A lot of the criticism seems to be very much influenced by the underlying bias we have against women: that we are vapid, that we look down our noses at other people, that we are attention seekers. Whoever posted these comments was clearly trying to portray a woman who knows she's pretty and thinks that makes her more worthy than others, it's a very one- note caricature of the "mean girl" and the fact that so many people believed it uncritically, shows that our opinions of women are still very low. Furthermore I think the comments you displayed onscreen were fair, because they didn't focus on attacking her looks, but I imagine not all of the comments directed at her are going to offer that courtesy. We still default to the old insult "well you're not that pretty" when we collectively want to "humble" a woman, as if her value is solely tied to her appearance.
crying at the fact that you called the cover group choreo a “big tiktok dance” 😭😭✋
I think that the people dancing in the park were completely in the right. They were in a huge space that makes them out of the way, and they didn't seem to have the music up too loud. I would be delighted to see them while I was walking to work or something. Plus, it isn't like they were some amateur tiktok dancers. They were doing full on choreo. They didn't mind all of the people walking in the back of the shot. She only got actually mad when some person literally got a foot away from her face while she was dancing. Besides that, completely agree with what you were saying. ❤ Gustav and Coop
When the top comments are only commenting on the first half of the video and not the plot twist...
I love the wall behind you. You are kinda funny but your positivity and common sense is very charming. I’m here for it.
i love how cooper is just recating to "main characters" who just record them being ""aesthetic* and she's getting pissed its like its a subway train
Exactly 😭 (I love your profile picture btw)
I only discovered you a few months ago but I absolutely love your brain, your energy, your outlook, your take on life!
Refreshing and fun and real.
Watching your videos completely out of order is so funny. But also, happy for you and your fiance ❤
I’m a Brit who’s been on the London Underground, it’s CONSTANT,Y busy and people need to get where they need to go. It’s horrendous.. like, you have no clue how horribly crowded it is and people need to understand this. The original tweet is showing frustration and that’s fine, but like.. misha why??
i've never been to london but i recently went to mexico city (cause the city i live in doesn't have a subway lol) and i was shocked at the sheer amount of people there is and how crowded it gets
copper bro i literally started watching you like a few months ago and you had like 200k and now it’s 700k?! great job man you deserve it!
SAME its insane!! so proud of him though
8:25 these people are actually an Australian (pretty sure Adelaide) dance group that makes normally videos around K-pop. Im pretty sure these guys have some sort of permit to do this! Also around 8:50 its a large public space because its an outdoor mall in Adelaides CBD. (Mall is Rundle Mall btw ^^)
I enjoyed the video but DUDE, your home decor is lit! Those artworks, the mirrors, the lighting, and those SHINY PILLOWS?! Oh my, so beautiful, so stylish, very nicely done. I'm new here but you mentioned moving to a new place recently, so you certainly did a good job, congrats ❤
cooper this is very off topic from your video but i love your pearl necklaces so much, they truly are such good quality. i can’t wait for you to come out with more combinations cuz i will buy out your whole stock!!!
YESSS YOU KNOW ITS A GOOD DAY WHEN KING COOPER POSTS😍😍😍😍 thank you for making my day
I think the bigger issue isn’t just people hopping in the bandwagon of hate. But also platforms refusing to do anything about people mimicking creators for scams and or drama like this. Many creators have talked about it. One guy who is a psychologist has someone use his face and name for catfishing. It was deliberate too. They knew his page and what he did and used it to harm others
Main character syndrome is becoming a problem
I'm glad to see Herbert James Draper art appreciation!!! His art is phenomenal and I love your wall sm!!!!
The K-Pop cover artists were OBVIOUSLY interrupted by someone with rude intentions and I am so sorry to them. Their cover came out good tho!
Love all the comments that didn’t watch the whole video hating on blondie lmao. More seriously I feel bad for her, her reaction was a bit extra but I get it, she had to wait for a different subway for each take, bit entitled? Yeah! But not deserving hate bruh, especially bc she didn’t write all those comments
Exactly. I've seen so many comments where I'm like "you definitely didn't watch 5 minutes in before commenting" 😂
They want to be on the first comments so they get noticed. It doesn't matter if they watched the whole video. It's about the thumbs up.
yeah I was gonna comment the same thing! NO ONE is talking about what the video is actually about. this is so common under commentary videos nowadays I dont get it.
People comment as they watch the video, that’s how comments work.
@sarahd4639 ..and? Still stupid to say something and not even correct yourself after you fully watched, thats what normal people do. Especially when it furthers the hate on someone who didn't even say that.
The intense second-hand social anxiety I get from these clips is insane.
10:08 the reason she’s doing it right is because she’s Canadian. That’s the cn tower in the background. We still have shame in Canada
Ok but the kpop group filming their dance is actually in the city I live in, at the city’s outdoor mall, and they’re not being annoying. It’s common and normal for people to busk and perform in that mall, there’s multiple groups/individuals there every day including dancers, musicians, comedians, painters and all sorts of other acts. It’s just the culture of that particular mall, and they’re not doing anything wrong :)
NOT THE O.O DANCING😭 THEY ALWAYS EAT IT UPPP
i am afraid to take pictures of myself in an empty classroom and she's out here offended that public spaces have people in them
I always smile whenever Cooper uploads. He is definitely my favorite UA-camr. Thank you, Cooper, for helping me out of such hard times. You're the best.
cooper’s shirt is actually so fall themed i love it
10:39 stop I can’t get over how cute you and your women are! Lol sorry I know it’s unrelated to your video. But still
i really hope the troll is criminally sued for impersonation defamation and instigation and learns that actions on the internet have consequences
When you imitated her head movement 😂
Cooper saying it was a highly choreographed tiktok dance when its actually a kpop dance cover is one of the silliest things I've heard 😭
8:20 you can never escape kpop 😈
yk seeing yourself as the main character is a good thing imo. you are the main character of your own life, but think about your favorite main characters. most of them are kind and like to help others. sure theyre flawed but you wouldnt like them so much if they were rude and belittling to everyone around them.
Girlfriend,...YOU'RE IN PUBLIC 😂😂😂
Found your videos like, 2 weeks ago and this is probably my favorite commentary channel now. Your commentary is so fun and upbeat! Makes being a weirdo feel good.
