Tai Sabaki is usually the part people fail at and then try blaming the art. It really is the key to everything

What in western boxing and Thailand is called "footwork " and "movement patterns / setups". Similarly in ninjutsu.

Are there any AKBAN Ninjutsu dojos in Los Angeles; in San Fernando Valley or San Gabriel Valley?

Are kidding that sparring was horrible nobody knew how to kick or throw a punch or even grapple. This is why people think what you are showing garbage. you show great technique but when it came to actually using it it all fell apart all the people sparring looking they did not know what the hell they were doing. This is the problem i have with this art. I am a practitioner of this are but even in class i fail to see it as really good for fighting.

Drills always look clean. Actual fight never..... ever looks movie - choreographed clean. If you go to an MMA training hall it's the same. It all looks clean but when they get in a cage it looks ugly. Boxing.... the same. Hits look clean as a whistle. Get in the ring and not as pretty to the eye. I have done Ninjutsu from 1986 and I had to use my art a few times in the street even against multiple attackers. Doesn't look pretty but gets the job done. At the end of the day it's not about it looking clean or if it looks like it's falls apart. Does it get the job done?
If the answer for you is yes then you're in the right art. If no then change up real quick .
