Almost 300 pages into the final book at this point. It's so good, I seriously don't have the words to describe it. Everything that I've always wanted to know, to see, it's all here. Possibly the greatest series I've ever read, or will read. I'll know for sure when I actually finish it. Though, it will be a sad day when it ends.
krono069 I am at page 211, the Black Tower attempted escape. I will be finished reading the final book this week. Happy & sad at the same time.
I've GOTTA read this series! I love The Lord of the Rings and A Song of Ice and Fire, so I'm excited to start reading The Wheel of Time!
WOT is, arguably, the greatest series ever written.. just saying..
You won't be disappointed. There is 7or 9 characters that deserved their own books.
Did you ever get around to it? I'm on book 5 now and I'm loving it.
And Brandon Sanderson: thank you so much. You have given us something beautiful.
Oh my god, sir, you have NO IDEA what you are in for. My life has forever been changed by these books. I've been reading them since I was 7 years old, fully comprehending them. I've read the entire series about 23 times since then.. May you always find water and shade.
finished this badboy in one sitting. 900 pages of rollercoaster track. the epilogue brings closure and it leaves you wanting more!! the books end, but the wheel keeps on turning in my imagination.
The final book it's 40 hours on audiobook, how the hell do you read that in one sitting.
Edit: just realized this comment was from 9 years ago, I should probably not expect a response.
@@tygerchase9705 I remember I literally did nothing but read on the couch. I had a lot of time on my hands back then.
I. Am. So. Excited. Brandon Sanderson, I know that you're probably never going o see this youtube comment, but you have done an amazing job finishing this epic series. I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself once this series is over. I'll probably read all of your works. Thank you so much for what you've done with the Wheel of Time. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
What an absolute legend Jordan was. Imagine you are diagnosed with a life ending illness and you still push to make sure your readers can get the ending that you promised. I will always have infinite respect for that man for that. Nobody could have finished the series as well as Jordan could, obviously, but I do think Brandon did a fantastic job and was the best choice.
The first, second and last 3 books are my favorite. I have both hard copies and Audible format. As well as in graphic books too. Love them, was hoping there is a continuation after Rand got his new face.
Reading the wheel of time for first time - finishing shadow rising at moment
Absolutely amazing series. I'm almost finished the second last book and can't wait to start the final book!
I only read the first 4 so far and books 1 & 4 were my favorite so far.
Thank you to ALL that have made this dream into a reality.
Well this just gives me goosesbumps all over... just three more days!
I'm eagerly waiting. I started wheel of time because a friend of mine knew Brandon Sanderson when they both were first getting into the series, so I thought I'd give it a peek. Very glad I did.
love it.
can't wait!
4 is one of my favourites actually, :P
I can not wait for this(well technically, I have to). It appears Santa will be arriving a few weeks late this year! Big thanks to BS and Team Jordan for completing this epic tale. And, of course, to the late and great James Rigney for allowing us to enter his world.
“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend."
On to Tarmon Gaidon! Just pre-ordered MoL today. Sanderson does a great job picking up the story.
wow 23 times, I thought it impressive that I've read it about twice :P
Enjoy them :D
Some people have already had the bloody book shipped to them. Christ! I WANT IT! :<
So true. I'm finishing up the second last book having picked it up again after a bit of a break. Each time I read it it feels like I'm reading about friends. I remember feeling extremely sad when I finished the Harry Potter series, and this will be 10 times worse!
I can wait to read it (and I will) -- I much prefer paperbacks anyway, and that could be months away (although the ebook is far more likely). I've still got to get through The Gathering Storm and Towers of Midnight re-reads, anyway. It's been a long journey from around May of this year to get through this much of a full re-read of the series; but by golly, it has been worth it.
Unlike other naysayers, I think Brandon did a bang-up job of books 12 and 13. Onward, to book 14 and The Last Battle!
Sounds awesome. I bought The Eye of the World a few weeks ago, and I look forward to experiencing the story. In all honesty, with a 14-book series, there are likely a few books that aren't as good as the others, so which might those be?
Read a memory of light yet?
O_O Did I misread that? 7...
That is impressive.
:DD True
20 days to go.
Please, somebody write an english transscript of what is being said! I do understand a lot of things, but not all of it...
Its written now! Also i know i am ten years late to this comment but if you still dont understand so just reply the timestamp of the part youare confused and i will explain it/transcript it!
Man. Can I wait for this? Do I have the patience? Oh, wait, of course: I don't have a choice... But just a couple of weeks...I should survive. Shouldn't I?
"The Last Battle begins.. January 8th" -- Apparently not for us e-book readers. >:(
I was crying when Egvenia dies
spoiler alert???
I cried so hard when DiscoBot 3000 died... So sad :(
Wtf whose tht? Its not spoiler I am sorry if I spoiled you the book
I think the ending is bitter sweet. I love the WoT. But I don't want it to end. I hope they preserved some DNA from Mr. Jordan. Maybe in the future, we could clone him, and he can write us some more magic.
Read it in old type...read it in paper version. ;)
What idiot flagged your post as spam??? I completely agree with you, this series is probably the best I've ever read, I've been reading them since the start of high school, years now. I'm dreading finally starting the last couple of books lol.
How can you skip a book in a long series like this?!? None of the books are bad.
Some don’t like “Crossroads of Twilight”
Monumentous? Is that a word Brandon
Yes it is...
:D
If anyone dislikes this, they are a Darkfriend
*died
I love fantasy/sci-fi series, but I couldn't get through The Eye of the World, it was too confusing for me :-{
bababooey666 it's probably because you're too stupid to understand big, complex books.
helps to skip to midbook whenever i try that one. to rand and matt on the road. then go back and review, too slow from start common problem.
Spoilers
I cried at all the stuff rand saw having to see people he knew and cared about die and not being able to do anything that hit close to home for me
Check Wheel of tomes - you tube Channel - the Memory of Light video :))) everyone cries during reading this Book finale
NONE OF THE BOOKS IS BAD!
Actually, looks like there is one Black Ajah on the loose trying to stir up trouble, disliking this video....
skip 4
After such a compelling series the ending was meh... expected a lot more.
Yeah me 2. Was pretty much he goes to shayol ghul uses the true power against the dark one himself---and dunk a dunk He survives, no tension,---The end. Nothing fascinating twist or that interesting.
@@devinreese1109 Ah, so I guess reincarnation is just a byword?
