Or Beardyman, he is on an even higher level given he improvises his sets and makes it sound like studio productions. Inkie's performance is the closest to it i have heard. But beardyman improvises mindblowing tracks and built his own looper from scratch to do it with. ua-cam.com/video/EZV5uK2uqt0/v-deo.html this was him just jamming along from the top of his head.
When you first started doing beatbox reactions I was waiting for you to get to this one. Inkie's second set is one of my favorite d&b loop station songs ever! I had to play more then once again. I appreciate your reaction to it. Thanks for making quarantine more fun man. It really feel like I get to hang with you and watch you have the same feeling I did watching this stuff.
Wow I guess I just found my new music guy. I’m a 27 year old white guy from Seattle. Had never gotten into rap or hip hop really, but I’m trying to branch out. I started listening to Eminem after I heard GNATS and thats how stumbled my way here. And not only is this dude helping get into rap he’s reacting to Nirvana, Rage Against and swissbeatbox! It’s interesting being introduced to music I haven’t listened to by a guy who is introducing himself to music I listen to. Most musically open dude I’ve found on UA-cam, and I actually like his reactions. I’m learning that as long as it goes HARD I can jam. Which seems to be what this channels all about. You got yourself a new sub bro!
First round: NME. The skill and timing required to nail that set live is just insane. Inkie’s set was still fire, just not quite as impressive. Second round: Inkie. His set was hard af, probs one of the filthiest I’ve heard on GBB. NME’s cover of Begin By Letting Go is undoubtedly one of the best sets in GBB, however he has performed it prior to this, and I’d argue his previous performance was cleaner than this one. I hope Inkie gets better luck with the judges next year, he really deserves it
@@justjackm8 ua-cam.com/video/E3Gj8075HMs/v-deo.html Take insight from BREZ it’ll actually change your view and help you realize what actually happened
@@DRM0087 he literally made the exact same points I made bro? Inkie’s second round was 10/10 whereas NME’s was off beat and had been done twice before, and GBB allowed Inkie to use the second device so how is it fair for them to then discriminate against him for using it? At the end of the day his Escape The Void set is actually one of the best/THE best I’ve ever heard on GBB, regardless if he used synthesisers/a couple pre-recorded sounds
Someone probably already told you this but that judge second from the right at 1:41 is Sam Perry who won The Voice: Australia using loop stations. He did a lot more with his voice and is worth checking out.
Chief, if patreon doesn't beat me to it you gotta check out Jarno Ibarra vs Oxbox... my favorite loopstation battle of all time. Love your channel, Happy New Year!
the reason inkie lost is because the judges suspected him of cheating in the first round. also, the reason the crowd got hyped during NME second round is because this is the first time he performed this song the correct way, he messed up against balance the year before I believe.
@@bodoque2029 A year late, but if you were referring to Inkie's loss, BreZ did a video reacting to this battle, where he said that he talked to the judges after this battle and they said that they weren't comfortable with Inkie's use of the second device.
Mannnnnn, Inkie was crazy in this battle! Small ask but Fire Squad we trying to hit 1000 subs on my channel before the end of the year, all support is appreciated !!
I wouldve picked nme. However a lot of people where butthurt that inkie didnt win. He did have the better drops imo, but nme had better structure and flow. But lemme get to my point, in the comments of the original video there is a guy that was at the event saying that he heard from the judges mouths that they thought inkie was cheating, due to them having no idea what effect he couldve used for certain sounds, 3:48 in the original video. So due to the thoughts that he mightve been cheating, all votes immediatly went to NME, even if the judges liked inkie's rounds better. However like i said earlier, i think nme would've won anyway.
Inkie was too repetitive and used heavy effects on every sound. Both his rounds were meh. The crowd overhyped him. NME was creative, and his performances were very hard to do
@@claytonlatone8959 Rythmind was too repetitive, used heavy effects on every sound. Both his rounds were meh. Do you realize how dumb that statement was? I get it's your opinion but like, Inkie was probably the least repetitive.
