Super Smash Bros. Melee's Event Matches. Yep, that's all this video is about. Nothing more, nothing less. You get what you clicked on. Don't even expect something else to pop up half way through that has nothing to do with the video at hand. Like, you know that popular Steven Universe bash rant that goes into a thirty minute dive into some Star Wars show? Like bro what even was the purpose? I'm disappointed that events didn't return in ultimate, they're fun in those 3 games, so why not ultimate?

probably because spirit battles kinda did the same thing
but event matches feltr more unique than spirit battles

What's really bizarre is that the Trophy stages are found nowhere else in the game and NOBODY seems to talk about them... I never played Melee (I grew up with Brawl), but despite years of hearing about Melee facts and tidbits from UA-cam and the Smash Community, this is the first time I've _ever_ heard about it.

All-Star Match 1-5 were some of my favorites :( It was nice seeing each character with a Home Stage properly selected, though I'll admit I much prefer the versions of these events in SSF2
