Sure, there's a case to be made that her exercise suggests trump has been exploiting the law for his own agenda. Even if that's not the case, the fact that she had her suspicions confirmed on the record means that there's a huge blindspot policy makers need to fix asap. AOC is an great representative and total breath of fresh air. I have a feeling she will inspire a lot of ordinary folks to run for office, hopefully of whom have good intentions
The problem with what I just stated is exactly what AOC is insinuating, someone may go into office with good intentions but eventually be sucked in by lobbyists, corporate donors, and the establishment in general (even someone who wasn't funded by special interests or PAC money, such as AOC.). Something needs to change, and change bad.
I state this understanding that some of her ideas are absolutely nuts, and not agreeing with her socialist/marxist ideology. But there's no denying she's there for us, not a bunch of big whigs sitting in suits and racking up cash.

The job of a president and a politician is to be a leader and a role model.
The fact that you do not value that, means you have no understanding of the role of our government.
More importantly, it shows how much society’s standards have lowered to the point where politicians can forsake their morals as long as they push a popular political agenda.
