@Shade Bleu The First responder's Congressional speech by John Stewart was about extending the existing Fund that was set in place from 2001 through 2003 for $7 billion dollars in Government assistance... this fund was reopened in 2011 for another 5 years and once again in 2015 for an additional 5 years of funding... This does not require every Congressmen or women to be present especially those who are not connected to the Bill. So try and keep up...the fund runs out in 2020 and most likely will be extended again. So this has jack shit nothing to do with what Alexandra Cortez is speaking about now. That display of emotion John Stewart gave was certainly Oscar worthy and it is tragic what happened on 911...but being a Firefighter, Policemen EMT and whatever else that requires that you place yourself at risk is nothing new. Billions have already been spent and will continue to be spent until the last person that was affected passes away. It's being handled and will continue to be which is why 90% of Congressional leader didn't show up for his speech. The adults are minding the store.

"Packing the court" is when you add a bunch of seats that weren't there before so that you can appoint them all yourself. You're complaining about the president getting to appoint justices to fill existing seats when they retire or die.

Their interests rest solely on their family's immigration story. Their approach in relating to others are greedy and selfish. She's touching on the commonalities of the human experience. I'll take that bet, because the odds are about 1,000 to one in my favor - even though I really like her. I also liked Howard Dean - but he yelled at a rally and he was done. I also like Al Franken - but he had a picture revealed of him (a comedian at the time, on a USO tour) holding his hands far away from, but in the general vicinity of a beautiful girl's tits which were covered by body armor at the time. A tasteless joke that he never revealed ended his political career. Crystal Ball was a smart and beautiful young Democrat with political aspirations, and she is toast now - because a picture of her surfaced! Bill Diblassio's first press secretary was fired for merely dating Elliot Spitzer because he once had an affair with a prostitute! She did NOTHING, but she is gone.
What if AOC experimented sexually in college as so many women her age did? What if a photo of her going down on a girl surfaces? What if she votes for a budget bill that is basically OK but has some heinous provisions she could not remove? There are a million ways to destroy her and an entire party foaming at the mouth to do it. She may survive, and i really hope she does, but the odds of her becoming President are not great - not matter how much I might like that.
