Hi Ellen, Happy Easter. I watched ur ham recipe. Now I’m watching ur brownie recipe, and I think it’s the recipe I have been looking for. I’ve wanted a dense brownie. So, I will try this soon, and let u know. I will use less sugar, because I prefer the taste of butter first. Many ppl like tasting sugar first, but this will be interesting to see how these work out. 👍 I don’t ice them either, I add the walnuts on top. A famous baker in NYC did them that way. I’m trying to find his recipe, and I think I have here. 👍👍
Part of the moistness in those brownies is that the icing melts and seeps into the spaces between each brownie. It might work with some slightly melted nut butter with cocoa powder added.
