Wide angle lens should be a default option for all new premium phones. I tried the LG G5 and wouldn't go back to a standard camera phone now.
yeah i would want one too.
do you know if theres a way to make the g5 autofocus more smoothly? the video footage i saw from it seemed ruined by the constant bouncing of the AF. Or maybe theres a manual focus option?
i'm also considering buying a gopro or something but most are a bit too big for daily carry in the pocket.
Maybe in full auto mode. I use touch to focus so never had an issue. There is a manual focus slider too.
I have a Gopro and a 10-18mm for a7s but still the best camera is the one in hand. :)

yeah I've been trying to figure out what camera to get.
phone is always on you and can upload directly, but much more fragile and I'm pretty sure I'll drop it at some point.
how long does the battery last when filming with the g5?
I might try another GoPro. sold my last one because it didn't have a screen.

How’s the image quality after you attached the lens? Does it changed? Or the same quality as the mobile? Or what
After it hit the concrete something inside broke and the whole image is now blurry. See my newer videos, I posted a video about a cheaper one that is similar.
aukey 238 deg lens or apexel 238 deg lens? which do you prefer?
Looks to me like the same case, same clip, same degrees. - I'd guess it's the exact same lens rebranded.
How would it be to attach this lens to a dual lens smartphone? Any issues? Thanks
You would only be able to use one camera. The lens will block the other one. Unless it's a3d camera and the lenses are far enough apart, then it might work great with two of these lenses.
I have an LG v20 and used a similar lens on that. Although that camera is already wide so I rarely use the lens.

No idea. I guess it broke one of the times it hit the ground. I dropped it quite a lot of times.

are the aukley lenses compatible with s8 plus?
I assume so. Mostly it should depend on how wide the lens is to start with. The wider it is, the wider the end result. But if too wide then you might have vignetting (black corners) in the final result.

As far as I know it should work on any normal smartphone, but the effect might be slightly different depending on the camera.
I have a new brand coming in a few days. The Aukey seems to be out of stock at the moment.
That amount of distortion, it should be an fish eye lens rather then wide angle.

It's a nice lens, but I am not sure I like the fish eye look, because the image look unnatural.
