Step 0: Have a phone with an actually good camera that takes technically good pictures.
Nothing ruins an image much more than shit colour reproduction, bad focus/autofocus, no manual controls, and excess noise. Especially noise. Some camera software battles it by smudging the image, giving it an oil paint effect overall.

siddique sl Dont need a dslr to follow the photography rules, they correlate into everything even when you're not taking pictures.

What is a good android app for shooting RAW? I have a Google Pixel that can handle RAW, but I don't know which app is best. Also, which app was being used in the video to take the shots? Looked super nice!
The camera application is the default on that phone.
For raw you can use Snapseed and Lightroom, I believe.
Can you do a video with Samsung s9 ?

For editing you can try Snapseed app. I made really good looking images using it.

Snapseed. I used to use VSCO but then I had the feeling the quality got worse. Does anyone know how much Snapseed affects the picture quality? Thanks☺️
July July Ive never noticed a decrease in quality. Unless you over edit the pics ofcourse.
