    Many of us seem to recognize the essence of ancient Egypt as if we have experienced it before, perhaps in a previous life. Although it's a peculiar thought, I can't help but feel this way. ♪♫♥𒀭

    Fascinating. It’s very interesting hearing about the themes of journeys and gateways. In particular, I was interested to hear the bit about spiritual portals being crevices in stones and caves. That particular thing shows up in a number of cultures around the world, including Native American culture in North America, which is interesting. I also recognize a number of ancient allegory and theme oriented ideas that show up in very early Semitic religious beliefs as well.

      Well, you are the best judge of your situation. I looked into Starlink in the U.S. to see if they were any cheaper and they weren't. I also don't know how reliable the communication is, what the local laws are in your area, how safe the dish would be from theft, etc. Sometimes you just have to live with what's available.
      There were some important fiber optic cables just cut because of the Ukraine / Russian war. Maybe that had something to do with the poor communications. Well I hope things get better for you. Be careful of public WiFi. That's often a source of identity theft.
      Stay Safe and....

    Absolutely fascinating story Irena, you are so amazing. Am I right in thinking that Isis used a spell to revive Osiris by breathing the breath of life into him so he could impregnate her and give birth to their son Horus and Anubis assisted in the resurrection by embalming the body so Osiris could live on in the afterlife. Isis took out the chest of Osiris and a tree sprouted from it as she searched for him in the form of a kite and one flew into its branches and by using magic she was able to reanimate Osiris and then he became the King of the dead?? Something else that is fascinating is that Osiris is biblically known as King Nimrod a great grandson of Noah and he was the founder of the first world empire at Babel, later known as Babylon.
    Sorry if I am wrong, this is very difficult for me to take in but I am trying my best to piece it all together.
    Thankyou so much Ancient Sites Girl

      There are many different versions of the Osirian myth, the version you mentioned, the latest one, is known to us thanks to Greek authors. I have never heard of Osiris being identified with the biblical Nimrod... interesting. Best regards, Mark

      @MarkTikasinghM.C.TIKAH-B Місяць тому

      @ancientsitesgirl
      Thankyou Irena, the version that I know seems to make sense alongside your podcast, maybe not everything but for example it makes sense why Horus is identified as a King of the afterlife too, he was created after the death of Osiris but after Isis resurrected him and perhaps that's why Horus has that connection. This is really difficult to work out but some things kind of fall into place. I don't know how you know so much, your mind must be so complex. You must sit and ponder for hours about some of these ancient stories. Oh and I only recently found out Osiris is also knows biblically as King Nimrod. Its quite amazing because I know the Bible quite well and this story imparticular. His kingdom was the land of Shinar which is also interpreted as Sumer which I have also studied a lot. Also Cush begat Nimrod and I believe this is where the Cushites / Kushites originate. So many things seem to add up and come together right now but too much information for my puny brain to filter properly lol 😆 😂
      Thankyou for all of your hard work and great efforts. Much Love

      Sorry Irena, just one more thing. As Genesis chapter 11 states, ' And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.' and also the fact that 'Cuneiform' was also used in Egypt, that I am suggesting that perhaps they were all connected as one whole kingdom in the beginning.
      I would love to know what you think about that and whether it should be studied or whether I'm just completely crazy... PEACE ✌
      🧡🧡🧡

    Paraphrasing "Anyone who born in Osiris is called Osiris". This idea is also in-line with the Buddhist philosophy, in which Anyone who attains the status of a buddha is called a Buddha, it's just a title.

    Great video! I really appreciate the thorough explanation of the Egyptian Book of the Dead. However, I can't help but wonder if the interpretations presented here are too modernized. Some aspects of ancient texts can be lost when translated into contemporary language. What do you all think?

      For couple reasons. Mostly because the megalithic construction, and the art and culture.
      I want to see Karnak during that period. Specifically the white chapel, and the original shrine of amenhotep 2, to understand how their beliefs in shrines and death had evolved since the old kingdom. I'd like to see the old military forts past the 1st cataract, along with the shipping industry that managed to get all the stone and resources back down river.
      Id wanna see just how large the military was and how the culture managed to spread out to the degree that they did.
      Then I'd love to see the middle kingdom pyramids which are all but gone today. Senusret and his descendants are probably the most fascinating line of pharaohs, in my opinion, and i'd like to know why they decided to build farther south.
      Then of course i couldnt miss the labyrinth thats supposedly around hawara.
      I think that much of the culture had hit is peak by the middle kingdom. The art seemed to be more fleshed out, and the use of color more pronounced. The legends and. The stories seem to be more important, although i accept we are missing a lot from what the old kingdom must've had.
      At the end of the day, i think a middle kingdom tour of the nile is the best way to see the best of what ancient egypt has to offer

    The Wallis Budge book has some translation issues, but hey. When the interpretations were done in the beginning, the Book Of The Dead, was viewed as the afterlife, when in fact, it is the opposite, as the Egyptian reincarnation aspects, along with the astrological machine, come into play. It is actually to be viewed as the spirit coming to Earth, to inhabit the body, through the 12 aspects of astrological experience as a human and the graduation levels to coming back to the source, after the lessons. Newer translations, would be better to study, for this perspective.

    Ritual of the Dead, and it was often spoken of as the country of the words of truth and the happy land of Osiris. Owing to the graves of the Egyptians being mostly excavated in the mountains on the western bank of the Nile, the terms "land of the west" and "the hidden land" became synonymous; and the present name of the village of Erment is derived from that of one of the chief cities near the ancient Necropolis.
    Amenti/America. What happens in Egypt happens in America. The Golden parade revealed the dead Pharoahs and Queens located in America USA reincarnated.
