Thank you. I used to trace the outlines of my complexe model in CorelDraw or Illustrator then, I export the outlines in .EPS and finally I import it in my Maya Scene as a Nurbs...
Hi, so I've used this method quite a few times which I find it to be the easiest for turning a black and white image into a 3d model. However, after I've remove the background of the image and extrude it, which was what I wanted to do, every time I save the project and come back, the faces go all over the place and creates a mess. Idk if anyone else has that issue but it's so frustrating💀
Unfortunately this is something not new. Isn't a trace image like other software. I prefer svg. And i hope for future development of a real tool for this.

Before this I used to use SVG from illustrator in order to create complex shapes..now i know another method to create complex shapes ..Thank you mam❤️

That's a cool tool, and I saw that in the new Maya you can auto-retopologize just to clean the mesh; or maybe bring to zbrush and zremesh it

This is neat. Do you have a tutorial on getting good quad topology from an extruded logo without having to create it from scratch via quad draw?
If you're using the latest versions, defining hard edges and using the remesh/retopologize will do that in no time
