In case the SVG option is disables, check this fix taken from the autodesk forumm it worked for me "open your plugin manager ( windows > settings/preferences > plugin manager) and check if type.mll is loaded. maybe there was a problem / crash or whatever which can cause plugins to unload!"
Just figured this out: Hold down right click, select 'Face'. Left click on the face you want to add subdivisions on (hold down 'Shift' while clicking if it's more than one. In the top bar of the screen select 'Edit Mesh', then select 'Add Divisions', increase the number to your liking. If you can't see the 'Edit Mesh' button in the top bar of your screen, make sure your bar is displaying 'Modeling' tools, you can change what your current bars display is by clicking the drop down menu underneath the little house in the top left of your screen. I know this comment is well late, but hopefully if someone else has this same question, like I did, that this answer helps them :)

No problem buddy
I already knew how to do this but what I would really like to know is whether there's a way to have the top faces not be a massive n-gon.
omg me too!! have you found any fixes for it?
How do you fix the big face??
i think it needs more subdivisions to send to unreal engine ( I need to do that)

Unfortunately I've never used Vray so I cant advise 🙁
