I suffer from severe depression and social anxiety disorder. I was given pill after pill. All of them made me feel nothing. I wasn't happy, wasn't depressed, just was nothing. I would put on my happy face that I kept in a jar on my nightstand. Decided I'd rather battle the depression than being empty emotionally.

Daisy aka Chinchilla, has really bad stage fright and she wears the nails (and usually a hat) when she performs as part of her Chinchilla persona. Gives her some distance and protection from the scary.
It's about being on medication that makes u feel dead inside. I was on setraline which is zoloft for a bit among many others. They all made me feel dead inside. I didn't feel sad anymore but I didn't feel happiness or anything else. I felt like I was walking in a floating chalk outline. It's my favorite song by him. It hits me so hard. Her song "Cut you off" is RnB, another is 1:5 which is also a one take and she goes all Adele on us. Some snarky ones are Caps Lock, Little Girl Gone and Fingers (live is best version). Both Ren and Chinchilla have been signed (and rejected) by Sony music.
A Chalk Outline is what surrounds what used to be a life but is now just a person shaped empty hollow silhouette devoid of any feeling within its boundaries so to be a walking or floating Chalk Outline me and say you are alive but your your body and soul is devoid of any feeling😢 when they talk about erasing the outline it is not because they want to escape it's because they hope that the feeling will come back

Chalk outlines is one of my favorite! I have the symbol for the song tattooed on my wrist in white! These 2 together complement each other so well!
