David, I primarily used Vallejo Model Air paints and airbrushed them on. I prefer airbrushing over hand painting as you get much better results. If you go to my first video, you can see a mixture I created for thinning Model Air paints for airbrushing. Use that mixture and start with 20psi on your airbrush (adjust as needed) and you will get the same results. Hope this helps.
