in this episode respect for our police friends and maybe the guy who had a wound in the lung and the other guy who seems to be his friend all there are psychopaths because we go the guy with the red hat 6:49 like the Asian 0:45 who was shot in the head killed without hesitation their companions for their own good the two that I mentioned before at least they would have done something else instead those two I have no idea who of them could get to worse things
When Roman pushed the guy inside burgess should’ve called help then come back so that situation does not happen
He took their phone too, search for a phone nearby risking it will be too late to save her collegue or going in unarmed ? Split second decision.

And that... was the definition of unrealistic and unnecessary, there were a multitude of opportunities where one or both officers had clear line of sight and could have made either a non fatal shot, used a taser or otherwise disarmed the offender, they really don’t do their research do they.
its called an action tv show bruh, you really don't do your reseach do you.
Where would you shoot for a non-fatal shot and did you see their tasers anywhere near them
And when dealing with guns you don’t pull a taser because if your taser doesn’t make proper contact (which was likely due to their jackets) it just gives them more time to shoot
Plus always one up the offender if they have something that may cause you serious damage pull your gun

Knife = pistol
Pistol = ar or shotgun
@Mic 72 for a non-fatal/incapacitating shot limbs are ideal or otherwise lower torso (this is higher risk but would work fine). The fact that tasers were not visible leads me to believe they may not have been carrying any, another blatant inaccuracy as this would rarely be the case when on patrol. Your point about the taser failing is valid, a shot to the leg could be effective but I see your point, as for the ‘one up’ theory, it is a very American way of thinking and is not how matters are approached in Britain however I understand that it’s an American show so I can’t necessarily comment, that leads me back to my first point that they had guns and failed to use them when presented with an opportunity.
The idea of non fatal gun shots is kinda stupid to be honest. Yes, guns do not always kill but if you are unloading a firearm towards another human you have to do it with the knowledge that this shot will be fatal. It comes down to 'never aim a gun at something you do not wish to destroy'. That isn't just something people say from a safety stand point, it is also a statement of fact. And anyways, let's be honest if this was real then the first guy would have killed both of them then legged it as soon as they started putting up a fight.
@Kira Stephenson Although I partially agree with you that non-fatals are a somewhat flawed idea, as far as I’m aware they’re something that is taught in firearms training so despite the questionable thinking it was a feasible option in the scenario. The reality of this discussion is that it’s fairly irrelevant when it comes down to it and I realise I’m partly to blame, if we comment on one inaccuracy then next thing you know we’d be picking the show to bits, might this be a sign that it’s not a very good show? I don’t know, that’s for each person to decide.
