That movie was so bad it didn't even make sense in so many situations. Like, that activist girl who clearly knew the shark already had killed so many people before, then jumps into the water with it being like "Nah, it's a good boy, see?"; and beside her being irresponsible and annoying that was definitely just stupid writing. And let's not talk about that pointless lesbian-scene that didn't even serve a narrative purpose because there was no character-development taking place at all due to the side-chick having a screen-time of less than a minute. They could've left that out and it would've changed nothing. This movie was below average all over the place imo.
