If one of the people, who used to make these in the factories, were still alive and could watch you restore these, I bet it would absolutely blow their mind or make their day.
- 3 coat of primer and wet sanding to get rid of pits. - Two tone sparky paint. - Making a tool just for battery spring. - Feeding and petting the kitty at the end. This is beyond perfect! Amazing, gorgeous, wonderful! 10 star job! Thank you so much.
My 5 year old loves your videos. Thanks to you I caught him with a screw driver trying to take his dump truck apart 🤣. Thanks for the videos, you're very talented.
All your videos are magnified. I am just relaxing watching them. Classic toys restoration. Why everything was better in those days? Music, cars, clothes even toys.
I love the fact that these are toys not collectables. But toys from a time when children didn't have alot of toys and the toys were pretty much loved to death. It's nice to see them back to their original glory.
When I first saw the car, I thought this is a hopeless venture, terrible rust and pit------but------ VOILA!!!!!! another brand new car from Chip!!!! thanks for the magic.
When you see the condition of the car at the start, the end result is magnificent, in addition the two-tone paint highlights the already very beautiful lines of the car
Excellent! This buttefly-shaped lever from 8:46 onwards kept me in suspense until the very end... Amazing. I would just slap in an off-the-shelf switch... but then I could not even imagine that they'd use the body metal to complete the circuit. Well, that was well before the Age of Plastics.
Oh, I was very impressed. You have realy skillful fingers! I like old fings. You can feel Time when you just touch them. Good luck with your new projects!
I don't know if I like the two tone. Maybe a pearl paint job would have been more interesting. I don't know if powder allows pearl though. Ultimately the final decision is left up to the restorer. 👌
Interesting, I don't recall ever seeing rust cover the paint. It usually eats through the paint through a scratch or a weak spot and separates the paint from the metal. Nice job saving another piece of history for years to come.☺
Great restoration!! Great video too!! No damnable techno music -- actually no music. Also, no incessant babbling and boring fruitless talking at all Great job.
I think the two tone paint job was really interesting at the dividing line. I like it in that it is unique and some what cool looking. Loved watching the restoration especially the sand blasting. Always enjoy watching that.
Good restoration. Weird color choice. Although, I thought you might weld that split hood together. I guess that's the way it originally was, but it's kind of odd.
You rescued another Roadster from the Junk Yard. You've 👍✅ done it again 😉! Sincerely Yours 🤠 Mr Severance, "The Cake 😋🍰🥫🎂🥳🎈🎉 Man", "World 🌎🌍 Cruiser"&"Succulent Collector","Teacup's & Saucer's Set's and Teapot's 🫖 Collector".
Wow, very nice, and after seeing the cost involved your hobby isn't a cheap one. Not including or to mention the tools you carry in your workshop. But at the end of the day most people don't put a price on hobbies and sanity, which both go hand in hand and you have the rewards to prove it. Another ''beauty'' to the collection...

Thank you for restoring this old beauty, absolutely amazing work. Your attention to detail is spot on.
Their 5 yr old loves this. I'm 77 and I'm sitting moving along on pause and laughing my ass off, this is SO COOL I Love It!!!!!
Looks great not sure about the blue and orange but it's a cool ride anyway.Well done.

I was honestly shocked the car didn’t disintegrate in the sand blaster. Well done!
Saw the original condition and thought..."No way is he making this one look new." I'm so happy I was so wrong! It's simply stunning!
All your videos are magnified. I am just relaxing watching them. Classic toys restoration. Why everything was better in those days? Music, cars, clothes even toys.
Watching these videos lowers my blood pressure....I watch them INSTEAD of the news.....it's heaven!!
I always like the time lapse hammering...almost calming...
Amazing. Very relaxing to watch. Love the care and attention to detail.
A really good job of bringing a rusted up car back from the dead.
I find it very relaxing to watch you take a rusty piece and restore it to it's former beautiful self. Amazing.
Lovely to see a lot of your restoration projects all together. They're beautiful!❤️
It's incredible! This isn't a restoration, it's a resurrection.
It's nice to see these old timer ⏳ iron made toys get restored, 🔂 once and again. This is in the case of: how to restore anything.
I love the 2 tone. It still blows my mind how the clear coat goes into the oven and how it comes out!
That was the least amount of disassembly I have seen you do. You brought back this one with almost no heart beat back to life!
I love the fact that these are toys not collectables. But toys from a time when children didn't have alot of toys and the toys were pretty much loved to death. It's nice to see them back to their original glory.
Excelente Restauración y personalización de dos tonos de este Wyandotte Light Up Sedan de 1930, mis respetos y saludos desde Venezuela.
Truly a beauty restored by talented artist and a brilliant restorer!!

This made me happy, from a cast off rusted shell to a cool little toy. Great work!
It’s amazing what some moulded sheet metal, wheels, and lights can do to make such a toy!
Nice job! And until I started watching your videos, I had no idea that there were battery operated toys available that early.
Me either!
Nice job on making a silk purse from a sow's ear!
For a first try at two-tone you knocked it out of the park!!

Just love watching you work. The sheep are cute and Beaker is adorable. Thanks for your channel!
Beautiful. You give me peace with your videos. Thanks.

Your first two-tone turned out well. Loved it, as always.
Hi Chip for being your first time doing 2 tone you did pretty good! You have a great collection! 😊
I am amazed at the body getting that smooth! You did a great job. Interesting color choice.
Outstanding resto I didn't think it was possible. Nice job Chip
Your color choice is........unique.

I like how the Leds in the sign changed as well!

It’s called using your imagination.
@@ericssincty6537 which is why I said ultimately it is left to the restorer.
It works. We have a car around here that is lime green and dark purple. It actually looks great.
I agree not sure about the colour looks a bit unfinished to me
The color separation wasn't as good as it might have been. After the tape is applied the edges should be burnished to ensure a crisp color line.
This is an absolutely amazing restoration. 5 Stars to you on a silver platter!
The car you restored looks great
Omg! I love the tow truck! It makes my day!!
Such an awesome looking little toy, and it has lights. That filler primer is so cool! Very well done.
Very good work! I'm looking forward to the next videos!
Aww look at all the little sheep in their junkyard, so cute
Ah...refreshing video design, no _blah, blah_ needed here! Great job.
I did not like the colors, but you have done a great job, and I loved your cat!!! Congratulation! 🤗😻❤
Beautiful color. I like the combo. And you gave her kitty treats. So sweet.
What a beautiful job of restoring this toy car, really outstanding .
very cool, the smoothing of the pits is what i found most interesting. i didn't know how one would do that.
Man that's dope bro, great work. Awesome collection you have there. Love the sheep and the cat too. Keep up the great work bro.
Your collection is getting bigger! Well done!

That car turned out great,I love the 2 tone colors especially the copper looking color
So beautiful!!!!!! ♥️ Great work!
Greetings from Greece!
Awesome... blue/green would have been enough, but that is why you deserve the gold.
Amazing how the red was under the rust
Yeah, I thought that was amazing by itself.
@@Hathorr1067 Amazing how that can be restored. I would have just smashed it up with a hammer.
Yeah how exactly did Rust form on top of paint?
@@Richardzmaxdragway Simple. Most of these "restorations" have faked damage and dirt to enhance the video to get better views and money.
@@PreservationEnthusiast Not like you to be watching a video about a car of all things old friend
Vraiment génial, un travail parfait. Bravo 👍👍
That's absolutely amazing... from such a wreck! I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see the whole process! btw cute kitten! 🙂
This car looks like popped straight out of Tin tin comics. Amazing 😍
What keeps the axles from falling out to the left side?
I'd say the friction of the wheels. I know he has to hammer on the endcaps when the wheels are made of metal or wood.
He hammered the opposite side off camera.. he didn't need to show something that clearly obvious. Great job dude
Great restoration!! Great video too!! No damnable techno music -- actually no music. Also, no incessant babbling and boring fruitless talking at all Great job.
Приятно смотреть на такую работу! Особенно на результат!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Very sweet 👍. Chip. Love. The. Panit. Job. So. Cool 😎. Lee
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! AWESOME RESTORATION! Well Done Mate! Diggin the two tone
Beautiful restoration and colors 👌🏾😸
My friend, you turned a sow's ear into a beautiful silk purse .
Oh wow!! I wish you could put my 65ft narrow boat through some of your processors. Fantastic transformation. 👍💕

This one ended as a strange looking car, I love it. Amazing restoration.
Gorgeous choice of colors!
I've always liked your restorations
The best restauration. Congratulation de Fábio e Rafael from São Carlos São Paulo Brazil.
I liked the way the 2 paint colors blended.

2:56 Wait... how did it get rust ON TOP of the red paint?
I like the two tone paint job👍👍👍🐑
I'm so impress with your car collection 👍
Spectacular, well done and thank you for sharing
Hi there!
I'm from Ukraine, your videos are very calming, nerves are calming :) especially now during the war ...
Thank you soo much! I pray you stay safe!
I don’t know why, but somehow I think of you as Chip Wyandotte. Great work, I love those old toys as much as you do.
Christmas morning 1936 some little boys eyes lit up with amazement at that car and its head lights !
And there you have it. Abracadabra, from a pile of rust appears a beautifully restored two-tone vehicle with working lights and everything.
That's really a beautiful car. Amazing work.
That's some collection!!!
Stay safe, cheers.
Wow....cool junk yard!
Beautifully done! I loved the paint job.
Two tone powder coating experiment was interesting. A lot of the Wyandotte toys were originally red or green but that gets boring. Nice job.
