Came out beautiful and better than the original. Excellent color choice! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you so much, friend!
An excellent restoration, done by a truly talented and gifted master restorer artist!!!
A pity, a good unfinished work. It gives me OCD that you didn't remove all the red paint and repainted it all.
The question is, why?
Right? I just commented the same thing, after all that work. Why not finish, paint that ugly faded engine, the components and the inside. It would have taken 5 mins tops.
Even under the hood was red. Looked like a Macco paint job. Lol
Maybe he just didn't because you wouldn't be able to see those parts on the outside.
Even I was OCD on the unfinished paint job 🥺
That restoration is amazing. Love the detailed work. Love your channel and content. ❤
Since the Engine Compartment hood opens, The underside of the hood should have been painted (black). Nevertheless, impressive restoration.
🤣😂the ocd part of me was shouting that too!
But there you go. It was very good nonetheless
DITTO on all points.
excellent job , fixing old ROADMASTER
Fantastic restoration of a car I am familiar with. You must have know that these cars often came with black and white interiors. Amazing. The sideways tilt on the hood and great detail overall brings back a lot of memories.
You did an absolute amazing job restoring this Buick. I love the colors that you chose. I really enjoy watching your videos they are extremely calming to me.
It's amazing how those chrome paints are looking more and more like real chrome all the time!
Just wish you didn't skip showing us some steps like installing the engine/transmission....
amazing, love the color but the tonneau cover color really sets it off beautiful
Wow, a marvelous restoration. But above all, a professionally performed repair.
Wasn't crazy about the color choice but it looks so good. I was happy to see how you re-joined the two halves
Thanks Friend!
@@restorediy nice
I love the color choice.
That was a pure joy to watch.
Agree, I was hoping he'd paint it cream to match the 1949 Buick convertible in Rain Man.
Pretty good job. My only question is why did you do such good details on some things but not others. I wish you would have painted the engine, it's components, the underbody, or the inside of the car.
These cars were still around back in 1964 or 1965, here in the streets of Mexico City, you did a good job welding those two parts you got your set of tricks under your sleeve, I am sure you make good money out of those restored toys, may be the color change was fine but you left some un painted spots in the inside of the body, thanks for the video it's very interesting as those others you have at your youtube channel
Hello Friend! Thank you very much for your comment, it was very useful! I liked to know that these cars were running in Mexico, here in Brazil they don't exist unfortunately! I am looking to improve with each new video!
Yes, and they were often used as Peseros! Solo un peso.
Nice surgical skills and restoration!!!!!😀😀😀😀😎😎
Amazing work & restoration! You gave that '49 Buick, life again. Beautiful! 😍👍👍
Thanks, friend!
Oh this is much better, there's still life in it, your not one of the crazy people that rip off the chrome embellishments and ornaments, paint it horror red and call it a day. Thank you for preserving the past quite well!
I would like to know where they find these wrecks with the parts still intact and pieces not missing??
He gets a complete toy, like this one, breaks it down himself thus making an easy repair.
Its like all the other bullshit so called toy and junk restores on you tube. They do it so
people watch their clips and comment and go "nice job". Plus make some money from
you tube for doing it.
Am i jealous??
Hell no. I see vids like this as meaning less rubbish.
Let the flaming begin
@@4TheMotorist Your mouth must bleed every 28 days mate, you obviously dont get any enjoyment from these vids so why watch them? purely for taking the piss and neg comments.......and yes I've lit the flame LOL
@@4TheMotorist Absolutely right bro ...👍 ...dislike for all that kind vids
I know right?! All weathered the same way, all with the same coloured mud sprayed on... Total fake
Gracias
Impecable!!!!
👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Mis saludos desde Asunción Paraguay 🤗 🇵🇾!!!!
Amazing he's really good ❤️❤️👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😊
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! I love old style cars so much, man! So much charm and personality! That teal color you used is gorgeous and really pops well with the white and those white walls! 😁👍🏻
I love old style cars too!
In addition to the amazing restorations, your photography is stunning!
Great job
I was a teenager during these magic years after the war ,cars were every thing thanks for the memories.
It was looking good until we saw that you didn't paint the underside of the hood.
This was probably done intentionally as the underside of cars hoods usually weren't painted because of the fumes that could come from the paint reacting with the heat of the engine.
@Captain Caveman yes but this was in 49
Wanted to make it look like Earl Shieb painted it.
@@daviddonaghy6494 now that's funny

I thought I was the only one who remembered him. Lol
Beautiful job. Well, I too wish you had restored to the original color, but, it looks great the way you did it.
Stayed true to the manufacturer's ethos - some real life road masters did come in teal - such attention to detail is really rare in current toy manufacturers.
Wow, amazing job. The car looks beautiful.
Thanks friend!
Simply awasome, wonderful job, the final result appears just manufactured by the original factory.
Great job 👌 getting it back together
thank you!
outstanding save. great job
Why/where/how are there so many vehicles/models that have the same amount of mud on them?
Uau!

That's priceless nice work
Thanks friend!
That is an AWESOME restore!!
Thank you friend!
Why was the undersides not sand blasted or cleaned properly... Why only the top portions
You do nice work on top but it's distressing to see a significant portion of the cars ignored and not properly cleaned or repaired
You offering to do it for him? Maybe he could send it off to you since it troubles you so much, huh nosey?! Then maybe you could do something for all the starving children around the globe...if ya got the time of course. THAT’S pretty ‘distressing’ too ya drama queen 😂
@@kikurass322 Why don’t you come and make me hero?! Bahahaha!!! Get over yourself, idiot!
God bless. Excelent the working restoration.😉👏
Obrigado amigo!
So many parts...Wow!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! 👍👍
Virkelig et smukt resultat - en fryd for øjet👍👍👍👍👍👍
Excellent restoration work. Your patience and skill are exemplary.
I love to see beautiful, interesting objects brought back from the dead like this.
Love the color! I knew you use an air spray gun, I didn't know that you used can spray paint. I thought why is he spraying the seat a prime color? I love that it white that you used.
I wished it was longer, to show how you did certain things on the car.
I, personally never saw a hood lift sideways. I need to look that up.❤❤❤
Now can we go for a ride?🙋
I have this same model. I like it more in the blue you chose! 👍🏻
Thanks friend!
This guy is a magicmaker , so truly , so real unbelievable work !
Excellent restoration. I was a little disappointed that the inside of the body wasn’t painted to match the outside. You couldn’t tell until you opened the hood and saw the original red color on the underside, but I think that it detracted a little on the restore.
I’m impressed!
Thank you friend!
Very good model. Good to restore it. Lucky all the parts were still rthere.
Very good job I love the colors
Thanks Mary!
Bellísimo trabajo!!!!👌👌😀
Wow beautiful clasic
LOOKS FANTASTIC!
Did a bad ass job man
Gorgeous!
ICONIC CAR CLASSIC BUIK 49 LEGEND OF AMERICAN
you gave that poor car a new life nice job
Hello friend, thanks for your comment and for following the channel!
Lindo !! 👍👍👍
Why was it not possible to re-weld the body by ordinary welding? cold welding is complete nonsense.
Maybe because he cut it in the first place
Die cast bodies are made of a zinc alloy, if I recall, and that can't be welded like steel.
@@craigjohnson8069 yup, diecasts are mostly alloy, it is rare to find one thats actually made of steel.
That beautiful old Buick
Glad to see you bring it back to any level.
Great job as always❤ would’ve been nice to know what stuff you used to make the car beautiful ..
Bravo magnifique
This was an amazing transformation!
It's awesome. Just have a few spots showing red should've painted all blue
Thanx that fill scratches before painting!))))
A splendid job of restoration
It's hard to believe,it's the same car. Fantastic job.
My dad had a 49 Buick "Super Sedanette" painted the same shade of baby blue as your model. I've only seen photos of it because I wasn't born yet at the time.
Very cool! Thanks for watching the channel!
That's one pretty car.!
Very nice, remember when they drove the streets of indy

Looks good from the outside, anyways you should have taken care inside aswell
Magnifique👏
Beautiful work!
Thank you, friend!
Boy you sure took those screws out fast! It must have been all of those monster drinks you consumed!
The question is, why?
It makes you really want to own an old Buick
I have a model car..its an old model Saab....got it when I was 9...I am 57 now. It looks great...glad I took good care of it...
