they should make a second one i dont even ask for better graphics, its actually the cartoon style that makes me like this game.
They did have a project to make a better one where you could edit 100000% more of the creatures body and even enter the water stage between the cell and creature stage the graphics looked more real than real itself! Sadly they quit this project a long time ago. :(

yeah but its more or less the adult version, create a creature and fight ( i know spore isnt exactly like that) but in darkspore there is tonnes of blood and a darker atmosphere =/

Now THIS is how you advertise a game. It showcases and builds hype for pretty much all of its features, and also has extremely entertaining, over-the-top movie trailer-esque narration. Probably one of the coolest video game trailers I've ever watched.

It is, up until you get to the Space stage of the game. Then the fun aspect quickly deteriorates. The fun of the game was in designing your own creatures and watching them evolve over time. But once you got to space, there was nothing to do but fly around fighting pirates and trading goods. Galactic Adventures looks like something the end game content was in desperate need of.
Um you can play adventures with this expansion pack in SPACE STAGE.

"Kill a dictator" This is why I am ordering this game.
I remember how much all of this blew my mind as a kid... As an adult I see infinite potential with a game like this, especially if they make the whole thing optionally co-op for extra goofing around. Palworld is really popular right now, and while I'm not into that one, it for some reason reminded me of Spore and how much more could be done with it if they were to finally make a sequel.
The combat was very simplistic, much like how Minecraft/No Man's Sky etc. decided to keep things simple to keep the experience focused on the core elements, but could you imagine how hard Galactic Adventures would've popped off if the combat system was up there with the likes of Dark Souls and Devil May Cry etc.?
I want more user content creation driven games that integrate those into a playthrough the way we went on galactic adventures during space stage. Even just stuff like Halo's Forge, it adds so much longevity to a game.
If I was some kind of amazing modder, my 1st priority would probably be to add a scenario-creator to just about any game I just want to have new kinds of content, allowing tweaks to tons of stuff.
I wish more devs had that same philosophy, you'd think they'd see green upon witnessing the notion of players supplying themselves with content.
Of course, reward structures get a bit weird when the player could just put a 100 xp-bag enemies in a pit for you to cheese etc., how to best handle the specifics depend a lot on the game.
The way Halo's forge did it is a safe bet, worst case. Player-created content is just for fun, they can always take some of the content and integrate it further upon reviewing it, like how Halo integrated Grifball and some maps into matchmaking.
This is probably the most genius idea for an expansion pack any game has ever created.

+Arceus The God It's not as bad as you think. I mean, it's bad, yes, but that is the whole point. He's mimicking the old sci-fi movie trailers. They would say the name of the movie over and over and over again to drill it into the listener's head. The repetition was for a good reason, but unless you're familiar with the old commercials, it would go over one's head and appear to be just an annoying "quirk".

Arceus The God No problem. Again, you're right -- it's "bad", but only because the old commercials were "bad". But it's supposed to be "so bad it's good" in the case of these kind of cheesy "tributes" (mockeries?) to the old commercials. I find them pretty hilarious, but that's because I like parody and irony. But that kind of humor ain't for everyone. ;-)

I think the only reason there were no more Spore games is because it did not bring in enough money, many people pirated the game, I think it became the most pirated at some point which declined in sales therefore making it not profitting as well as it could. There fore out right cancelling it :c I loved it personally.

Man, I love this advertising, the narator is so epic. He makes everything seem much more dramatic than anyone else ever could! (Yes, it IS as awesome as he makes it out to be!)

What the adventure really needs is a Dialouge Tree. It's one of those things in games that let you choose what to say from a choice of things you can say and also a built in movie editor which you can use to advertise your adventure or even have in game. THAT would be a worthy exspansion! (Or at least worthy for a patch...)

You make houses hollow, you take a block and make it as thin as possible, and use it as a wall, you can make rooms (basicly a empty box) or you make diffrent parts and in the creator put then together to make a bulding you can go inside, note that you can't make door's that you can open or close on free will.
There is so much perfection, and yet so many errors with this game.
Pros:
-After gaining experience in the editors, you can make almost anything!
-It is very fun in the evolve game-mode for a good long while.
-You can make amazing stories, quest, and missions with the GA pack! Put your epic creations together in a world!
-Great music/background sound. Its the stuff to inspire someone to make stuff.
-GIANT BANANA!
Cons:
-The game needs better AI, mostly for space stage and adventures.
-The editors have a complexity/cost limit, therefor making it harder to make complex stuff.
-The graphics can get ugly sometimes, even when set to "high".
-The download can take many hours depending on your computer.
-Horrible costumer service (EA).
-No real community left (unless you find a group that is still playing).
-A little too cartoony.
I've had spore for at least 6 years. And I've gone in and out of playing it over wide spans of time. Considering
the fact that I keep coming back to it means it still has some features I don't see in other games. That is my opinion on this game. I wish for a game with the feel of Spore, yet has better programming and more features. A developing game called Thrive is my best hope for that. Check it out!

First of all, that can’t be something you include as a con for a fucking game. Secondly, it depends on your internet, not your fucking PC. Customer service? Are you fucking kidding me? How does that have anything to do with the game? No community? It’s a fucking singleplayer game, why do you need a community?! What about you actually talk about the game when you are making cons, instead of including stupid shit like download time and customer service.

This game is best game they have made in my opinion and now 4 years down the line I'm playing again. Now that they have patched it I can finally feel the full experience of what the game should of felt like after all the crashes that happened, and I just wish from today they were still working on it to make it even better than it is and also now I get to be a Space Captain!

Spore is where you get to explore, create your own creatures and name them, battle other creatures, build a village, survive, etc. The game is really good and I TOTALLY recommend it for everyone 10 and up.

@@theplaidpilot8156 i know how to live on T0 like The Grox in space stage. stage : 1/ firt terraform any planet on T3 score, place one colony give maximum spice 132/158 with 2 happines all turret, place uber turret, spice storage, stage 2: terraform back to T0 score stage 3: leave planet. stage 4 : now your colony is like T0 - The Grox... but you cant visit planet or all be gone... so dont worry or scared against biological viruses on animals... easy step 5. done :D this is glitch or bug , not a mod. have a good day and GL.

The cell, creature and space stages of spore are first person control with a 3rd person camera. The only stage that's the omniscient RTS type of controls is civilization.

Would be cool if they could make it like you can pilot Vehicle's, and with Super Weapon's for Vehicle's like Lasers, Miniguns, Boost and such would be awesome XD

@Slipknotyk06 No you get to play other people's adventures and as well as amke your own and share them throughout the spore galaxy.You can also finally get out of your spaceship in the space stage. i hope this helped :)
Spore Extended Edition. With rebalancing, improved textures and glitch-fixing... and (the original, tetris like) Cell along side (current) Microscopic, Acuatic and Medieval partial stages!!! :D
That Cell becomes an intro for Microscopic. Acuatic becomes the beginning of Creature with the decision to land on at will, evolving in the sea. And Medieval becomes a Civilization beginning battling with local feuds, tribal-esque, fast-paced, in order to found the city. Defeating the feuds slowly will render your city to spawn late in contrast to the other civs. And defeating them earlier will give you the advantage founding the city early.
This game doesn't need a sequel. Is theorically perfect. :P
