"You live what you've learned" Those words and this whole song helped inspired me to make a positive change in my life. My personal favourite song off Hybrid Theory.
chester has such a powerful voice. i can hear his emotion it’s so beautiful. i’m missing this angel right now. love everyone in linkin park, thank you all so much. 🖤
This band changed my life (not metaphorically). I have struggled with PTSD since I was young, and before I could name it or express a word out loud this band helped me find that internal strength inside to put words to feelings, and fight back. I hope they understand that even with losing Chester, they have made a real difference in the world. ♡
People telling stories of them with how much they love their bands and how the songs touch their hearts making em think about things they lived remembers me to the music video of "Demons" by Imagine Dragons hehehehe
@GTS I don't know, everyone will have their own favourite, mine would be Faint or Figure.09 but it's not like I'm representative of all Linkin Park fans
I like the way at 3:14 Chester spits the water into the air in time with the drumbeat. He was an original and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to hear him and Linkin Park, especially those of us who grew up with LP.
She just doesn’t have that sweet spot in her voice that Chester had..she’s got HUGE shoes to fill that I think will be impossible for anyone to ever do!

Soon when I'm about to be a father, I'll tell my children that Linkin Park had given me the courage to still continue the journey of my life no matter what chaos happens to you.
Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Two Ultra-Badass albums from a ultra talented Linkin Park. I still and always keep listening to these! RIP Chester. You will be missed.
These men saved life more times than I can count. Thanks for being part of my life fellas. Rest in bliss Chester. Much love and continued prayers to your family.

Decisive decision: Best song by Linkin Park. Didn't think I could narrow it down after 20+ years of listening to them, but think this is the one for me.
me too! this song is just so beautiful, all through the song, my hands are just like.. replay itt!!! and i listen to it on repeat, my mom just looks concerned for me
The first Linkin Park song I've heard, The first video I've seen. Fell in love with them immediately. Their music shaped my early teens. I've been returning to their first albums for almost 15 years just to remember the good old days. I'll miss Chester and his amazing voice, and I'll probably never be able to enjoy those songs without the feeling of tremendous loss and grief ever again. Rest in Peace Chester.
My first was What I've Done because I was really into Spider Man.I eventually came back to Hybrid Theory and Meteora and listened to later albums like The Hunting Party, Living Things, A Thousand Suns, and One More Light. These guys are the best in the industry to me
First heard them on my grandmas TV in Germany "Crawling" at 16(39 now). Flew home bought hybrid theory right away and would blast it driving at night windows down on country roads in Texas screaming my heart out❤ RIP to the most impactful voice in my troubled youth

I was 13 years old when I started listening to this band.. after many years of peer violence and identical childhood trauma that Chester had, I gained confidence, strength and became stronger from the inside.. Now I'm 31 and those songs affect me the same way.. Endless love and thanks to this band for the things they have done for so many of us. 🖤
I feel you on so many levels there, 31 as well and Linkin Park got me through some of the darkest times as well. I'm happy you found strength and confidence within yourself
Limp Bizkit took Nu Metal rap to the top of the mainstream first. By the time LP released Hybrid Theory, Limp Bizkit already sold over 20 million copies.. Limp Bizkit was the 1# band when Linkin Park first came out. They were the hippest and biggest band at the time, and then MTV went looking for bands that looked or sounded like them. When everyone first heard Linkin Park in 2000-2001 they were immediately compared with Limp Bizkit.
Primordial Vengeance I was a young teen during the 2000s. When Linkin Park came on the scene I was in 7th grade. Limp Bizkit at the time was pretty big. Lots of radio play and their videos played a lot on MTV when they still played music videos in the morning. Some of my best memories during that time is just having MTV playing in the background while getting ready for school, and learning about new bands that way (A lot of people had internet by then, but just as many didn't). I wouldn't take back growing up in the 2000s for anything. We were the guinea pigs for social media (MySpace, Live Journal), the boom of the internet when it was still raw, Napster, Limewire, AIM, skateboarding, Fuse tv, emo...it was all great.
Unpopular opinion but Chester put all his voice to every song that he wrote because he was going through all the things he was singing about. New vocalists is great but she is just recreating. I truly hope the band will found the new way to represent their vision of music and create something special.
Had a dream about Chester the other night. It was like we were best friends. Him and I were just chilling out at a park (no pun intended) at my town. I don't remember the entire conversation, but I noticed through his body language that he was in emotional distress. I asked him if he was okay. He broke down in tears, and I stood up from the bench we were sitting in and I hugged him, super tight. Telling him that he was loved by not just his fans, but by his family and his bandmates, who are like brothers to him, and that we can't lose such a talented, kindhearted human being. I'll never forget meeting Chester. Even if it was just a dream.
50 years old and I still love this band. Definetely brings on the emotions of years gone by and the present day absence of a soul that IS STILL a one of kind talented mastermind of music. The songs will never die.
Totally agree. Nothing like LP - before or since. One of the best bands I've ever known, and I'm 61. Not a day goes by that at least one of their songs isn't in my head. Today it's this one. RIP Chester...
Kids these days don't understand how influential they was....early 2000's....around high school was everything!!! He was one of the best and will always be #RIP #LPFAN4LIFE
He wasn’t the original but man he nailed it making a real connection with fans all over the world, we need to see now what does the new singer brings to their new music, we’ll see, we’ll see
This whole cd is a masterpiece and not one cuss word and still is one of the best CDs out ever. ...😢 miss you man. This music helped me get through so much as a teenager.

I still cry, knowing I’ll never experience a Linkin Park Concert, Hybrid Theory was released in ‘99, I was born in ‘01. I discovered my favorite band through my mom who was a fan since day 1. 2007 was when Minutes to Midnights released and my mom bought a CD and I still remember 6 year old me jamming out to the entire album. As I got older I always listened to these guys, but my family was poor so I could never have afforded tickets to see them. Now with Chester gone, I still hold on to ways these songs have gotten me through hard times and helped me beat 2 suicide attempts. Thank you Mike, Brad, Joe, Phoenix, Rob, and Chester. You guys are the reason why I’m still pushing through life.

And puts your name to shame
Cover up your face

You like to think you're never wrong
(You live what you've learned)
You have to act like you're someone
(You live what you've learned)
You want someone to hurt like you
(You live what you've learned)
You want to share what you've been through

You like to think you're never wrong

Edit: RIP Chester. You will be missed.
wow that long? then i was 1 years old XD
cindy van dijk wow because I was only like 5 when this song came out wow. I'm still listening 2016 and though out. Yo this totally rocks right now.
same here :)
cindy van dijk I just wish I can meet them in person.
daphne munroe ikr but i dont know if they ever going to holland for a tour
I was 16 years old when this song came up. Now I'm 38. How time flies..
"You live what you've learned" Those words and this whole song helped inspired me to make a positive change in my life. My personal favourite song off Hybrid Theory.
Felt like an awakening inside amazing track
You live what you've learned* lmao learnt 😆
I can't agree more with you,, 😭😭
la mejor voz lastima que le hayan arrebatado la vida haciendolo parecer suicidio
im too
chester has such a powerful voice. i can hear his emotion it’s so beautiful. i’m missing this angel right now. love everyone in linkin park, thank you all so much. 🖤
RIP chester, your very much loved and never will be forgotten, your music made me what I am today
Mungkin..apa yang kita rasa sama.
Aku rindu chester
This band changed my life (not metaphorically). I have struggled with PTSD since I was young, and before I could name it or express a word out loud this band helped me find that internal strength inside to put words to feelings, and fight back. I hope they understand that even with losing Chester, they have made a real difference in the world. ♡
People telling stories of them with how much they love their bands and how the songs touch their hearts making em think about things they lived remembers me to the music video of "Demons" by Imagine Dragons hehehehe
This band is the musical embodiment of my entire childhood.
did you fight In a war? or was the ptsd from something else. If you did fight in a war, upmost respect to you and we thank you for your service.
This band helped me through an abusive relationship. 🙏
Yes say it löder.
Points pf authority is one of the most underrated Linkin Park song imo🤘
Rip Chester Bennington 20.03.1976-20.07.2017❤
Yes it is, when i seen it on MTV being played, and not voted on in any of the live countdowns shows. I knew it would be overlooked and underrated
a place for my head.
One of their top 3 songs for me bro.. the beat drop transition are insane .. amazing workout song hahahaa
Unpopular Opinion: This is the best song of the album.
I could seriously agree with that; people will argue "in the end" but this just hits so much harder!
Can't we just agree that they're all the best?
@@hopeless__-ut6tg who, with the exception of very, very casual fans, would argue that In the end is the best song of the album?
@GTS I don't know, everyone will have their own favourite, mine would be Faint or Figure.09 but it's not like I'm representative of all Linkin Park fans
Love all of their songs ☺️
The ultimate freedom from narcissistic abuse anthem ❤ helped me be more powerful than ever, peace reigns x
THIS!!!! The ultimate anthem!!!
This and A place for my head are both good anthems for narcissistic abuse, and it makes me wonder which of them was trying to overcome it at the time
I like the way at 3:14 Chester spits the water into the air in time with the drumbeat. He was an original and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to hear him and Linkin Park, especially those of us who grew up with LP.
Cyrus The Mask he is immortal gods never die
Very true , Chester will live on through through the music and fans.
People die, but music and the emotions it causes in people can never die.
here, here, you are right there. As long as their music is alive, the person lives on.
i don't like your mask
I've been a fan since the beginning. I'm 36, and just realized that chester is a kindred spirit. He knew exactly how I feel. It's trippy.
Mom of two, 13 years later and I still love Linken Park. Always will.
This is music.
She just doesn’t have that sweet spot in her voice that Chester had..she’s got HUGE shoes to fill that I think will be impossible for anyone to ever do!
nobody can replace him and thats not what its about at all its a new chapter she never claimed to be chester

After 23 years, I still love the Hybrid Theory album, as well as the Linkin Park band, they are forever in our hearts, as is Chester, the eternal memory of the legendary soloist of all time rock music
Soon when I'm about to be a father, I'll tell my children that Linkin Park had given me the courage to still continue the journey of my life no matter what chaos happens to you.
Linkin park это целый мир. Сегодня и вчера и навсегда.....
Miss'em so much! They represent most of our youth. Rage, pain, strenght... this is Linkin Park.
Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Two Ultra-Badass albums from a ultra talented Linkin Park. I still and always keep listening to these! RIP Chester. You will be missed.
Sometimes I wonder if these guys actually know how much they changed people’s lives, honestly,

Rest in peace to the voice of a whole generation. Linkin Park is the only band I shed tears from when I listening to the classics.
Decisive decision: Best song by Linkin Park. Didn't think I could narrow it down after 20+ years of listening to them, but think this is the one for me.
I have 3, this, Papercut and From the Inside, not able to pick one, all great work out songs!!!!!

The first Linkin Park song I've heard, The first video I've seen. Fell in love with them immediately. Their music shaped my early teens.
I've been returning to their first albums for almost 15 years just to remember the good old days.

Rest in Peace Chester.

“MY LIFE, MY PRIDE IS BROOKEENN”
Their sound has truly revolutionized the charts
Lee Crawford nope
Limp Bizkit took Nu Metal rap to the top of the mainstream first. By the time LP released Hybrid Theory, Limp Bizkit already sold over 20 million copies.. Limp Bizkit was the 1# band when Linkin Park first came out. They were the hippest and biggest band at the time, and then MTV went looking for bands that looked or sounded like them. When everyone first heard Linkin Park in 2000-2001 they were immediately compared with Limp Bizkit.
Then P.O.D came along with the matrix!
^ well they sold over 1 million copies in one week, and gold in one day with Chocolate Starfish when it came out in late 2000.
Primordial Vengeance
I was a young teen during the 2000s.
Peak Nu metal - that riff - that chorus ❤️
Linkin Park lives forever. They will never die. Well their music won't die.
Thanks for the likes. I didn't know I had this many likes. Thank you brothers and sisters.
I love you all. Let's keep Chester band alive and songs viewed.
Thanks for the likes y'all. 56 likes is great in my eyes. This is my most popular comment on UA-cam.

Points of Authority” talks about a toxic, abusive relationship. But through these 22 years it still defines how alot of ppl are nowadays. "They like to think their never wrong, they want someone to hurt like them" 😔
I'm pretty sure this one is rather about child abuse, knowing that Chester went through it...
@@machinehl fax definitely true. I also think he blended it in with his present life at the time when he was going through difficulties in his relationship

Broly edit❤❤❤
